  1. Hi, I have the 91 LS400. The subwoofer cover is easy to pry off. Just tape your flat screwdriver with electrical tape and pry from the bottom up. Good luck
  2. Hi, 1. The door rattle: It seems to be a loose screw. Search the forums for this. It is easy to take the door trim off and confirm. It happened to me on the driver side. 2. The CD/Radio: It does not happen to me. VH 91 LS400 (137K)

  5. Hi, I changed the oil in my son 91 LS400 over the weekend. I noticed that there was green fluid on the right hand side (driver side) of the cross bar (if you look at the car from the front).   6. Does it have anything to do with USB port ? ie. Win95 does not support it but from Win98 on, it is supported?

  8. I am sure the dealer can reprogram to remove it. I used to have this feature not programmed ie. not automatically locked in my 2003 X5 4.4 but since asked the dealer to program it.

  10. Hello, Thanks for the replies. 1. We recently put on new wheels and tires (see gallery). They torqued to 75. 2. The shuddering has been there since we bought the car.   11. Hi, I am contemplating replacing the front rotors and calipers on my son's 91 LS400 (due to shuddering when braking). I thought about resurfacing but thinking about the rotor servicing life after the turning> Any recommendations? Thanks a bunch VH PS: See gallery for a pic

Your scenario is one of the many that I worry the most while driving: 1. waiting in the middle of the road waiting for the traffic to clear is like being a sitting duck !!! 2. Afraid of idiots running red lights, stop signs... 3. Idiots changing lanes without looking All the best to whatever decision you make

  19. Hi, While enjoying a beuatiful Sunday, I cleaned my throttle body. Very dirty !!! By the marks on all the rubbered-area clamps, it seems that cleaning was done before but still dirty. Definitely recommending it: car seems to be smoother and hesitation seems to be gone for now. VH PS: Also tried to change front pads on wife's 99 ML320: Followed manual and other info: undid 5 lugs but wheel would not budge (seemed like welded!) Any help? Thanks
