Hi, My son has the 91 LS400 and the iPOD. I set him up with the cassette for now and he thinks the sound is good. AFAIK, there are 3 ways (by sound quality order - worst to best): 1. FM modulator 2. Cassette 3. Direct Aux input (best)

Hi, With winter fast approaching, has anybody installed the remote starter on 91 LS400? Is it DIY ? The package advertizes that the trunk can be popped with this unit. Hi, When the ignition is turned on (not to start the engine but to light up all lights in the dash), there is a click....click.... click.... sound going on in the engine bay for about 7-8 secs. I investigated where it came from: It seems to come from INSIDE the ENGINE right under the Throttle Body. Does anybody know what it can be? It does this whenever the key is at the above position. So, what I have been doing is to wait til this sound stops then turn over the engine. The car has been going well, mileage etc.... Thanks VH 91 LS400 140K

Hi, I have noticed that lately, my son's 91 LS400 has this symptom: When the ignition key is turned on (but not to start the engine , only to light on the dashboard), after the soft warning musical chime is done, there is a slight click click click sound which finishes about 1 or 2 seconds after the chime. Leo's diagnostic was exactly what happened to my 91. When I took off the driver door panel to fix a loose screw and put it back, I did not do the courtesy light properly and it did cause your kind of problem.

The hidden radar detector is a K40. The control for it may be mounted inside the center console/armrest. The left indicator on the panel is for the front and the right indicator is for the rear detector. The control has 2 settings: city and out of city. It also has a loudness setting
