  1. heres all that i can answer: quarter time in stock form i think is about 15.6 depending on driver. but that can all change with a motor swap and a big turbo :P as for putting old supra twins on you probably need a TT head (something about the compression) or just a whole swap. I have a sc400 and no LSD(believe me i tested it ) and i think they offer a trd LSD but i think its just a supra one. Rods and crank are all solid pistons are different, head gasket, head (like internal porting is different) most people on this forum will probably push you to a NA-T conversion but like me you seem to be able to do all of your work you self so I would tell you to do a swap and plus theres a guy who wrote a book on how to do it all with with wireing and all. well hope this helps!
  2. oh and $320 is cheap thats about what i got it for and i have an account with lexus it retails for $416.82 so feel happy that they will give it to you for that much less unless of course you can find it cheaper
  3. i got the new now steel arms and i got a pic but i got an error saying i cant upload this type of file how do i do it?
  4. yea maybe a bad contact with that conector. It might have gotten dirty over the years. if all fails try a P/S conditioner?
  5. well that sounds about right but still a couple hundred too high they better do a damn good job for that price ;)
  6. thats the cost of them pulling trans and fixing it then puting it back in right?
  7. try replacing your upper and lower ball joints. the lower ones really go bad to the point where you can push it in and out with your finger. I changed my lower arms amd ball joint a couple months ago but im going to do my uppers soon I got one arm in but the dealer screwed up the order and didnt get the other side so i have to wait. and the new arm is steel not magnesium. which kind of makes it sound cheap but i guess they had to do that cause it was just too weak.
  8. they dont just sell the bushings. im preatty sure that you can use supra arms cus i have seen aftermarket racing arms listed for the supra and the SC in the same "box" so to say, in the add
  9. like I said the flow master only has a bit more grr to it but if you want loud go to like a greddy or an hks or something.
  10. try flow master. they have almost a stock look with a bit more Grrrrrrrrrrr as you put it
  11. wow not a scratch? have you seen that movie UNBREAKABLE?
  12. is this a rebuild for a motor? if thats the case then you have too pull motor and take it all appart. head , pistons, drank and in and ex manifolds and everything thats electrical then you take it doun to a machine shop and they will do the rest depending on what you want. if you go turbo at this point it might be a good idea to buy different pistons from JE or some other company or even go to the turbo GTE pistons. buy a new oil pump while your at it and have the crank ground with new bearings everywhere, and get a head job and to finish off balance everything. pick a good machine shop somewhere with a good history and dont be suprised if you have to wait a month and a half for them to finish the job. well have fun
  13. mine happens during driving and while parked. while im driving i can put the car in neutral and it will go away, also when is start to drive above 80 mph is starts to go away does this mean i should just drive really fast? but as soon as i get the parts which is fairly soon ill change them
  14. on board adjustable dampening.... must i say more?
  15. i think i have a similar or same problem and im going to change the motor mounts soon to see if that quiets things down once the parts come in that is
  16. i just saw on a magazine where they showed the enkei factory and it seems that they have preatty high standards
  17. the weight of the ball does matter some companies sell shifter handles with different weights to fit the needs of the car and driver and as for the gear oil i like that smell but i guess that just makes me a little wired
  18. the part numbers are different between the LS and SC for the air flow meters. so wouldnt that mean its different?
  19. 5zigen and enkei are both good companies that have been around for a preatty long time. as far as looks its what you like i cant push on what i like to you but i remember seeing an add for enkei for hollow core rims that were super light.
  20. corect me if im wrong but isnt the air flow sensors different on the sc and the LS well if it is you need to find another person with an sc400
  21. hey how big are your rims? looks perfect :D how far is your off set?
  22. i think that your front speakers are just blown so just replace them
