  1. make sure you get a brake caliper hone and hone the cylinder cuz thats most likely the reason that your piston is hanging up. if some mechanic pushed in the piston at an angle that could be the reason for your sticking piston.

  5. keep the sc throw out the rover idea and get the new S4 its a v8 also turboable

  7. if anything i think the 1jz head would flow a bit less cuz of less cubes in the motor so less flow is needed i could be wrong :P
  8. i have actually thought about that electronic fan turbo too but i figured that it might not feed enough air and or might push too much when at idle unless theres a throttle position sensor on the fan motor to make speed variable then i dont know if that would work

    i think that only applys to 90 to 93 where the rim had a direction of rotation and probably the LS430 with the 16inch wheels

  11. 250 is super cheap so ask your mechanic to change the water pump while hes got everything appart

  14. news from the rising sun. blitz has released its supercharger kit for the 3uzfe it doesnt make that much more power up to 326hp but considering that in japan cars can only come out with 260hp now i think, so if its released in the US it might be more powerful since we already get 300hp
  15. im not all that sure that you can convert the nav maybe an aftermarket that fits the stock position is best for looks and grey import ... there the ones that import R32,33,34 skylines right? i think i have read about them in your royal CAR magazine
  16. i have seen turbo knock off speakers that just make the sound of the turbo and bov otherwise just buy the turbo plus why do you want to be a wanabe when you have the sound but no actual turbo?
  17. there are quite a few 5speeds out there you just have to look. as for motor i dont know how much you can sell it for but why dont you just keep it? the bottom half of the motor is the same so if somthing goes wrong with it you can change it. and for the ecu im preaty sure that you need the manual trans ecu

  20. i dont know which would be more cost effective but if you have lower compression i think you can run more boost right?
  21. that valve is very hard to get at but what it does is keeps a constant ps pressure even when the engine revs are really high. and it does go bad sometimes
  22. are flow meter? ive had a car that would idle until the engine would warm up but once it did the cold start injector would turn off and not enough fuel. so the car would die unless i gave it gas. so your car just might not be giving enough fuel when you give gas cause it thinks that not that much air is going in.
  23. yea crappy cables with even 0.1 ohms ov resistance would cause a voltage drop of 10 volts so if you have junk wires than the car wont start
  24. i believe the displacement also goes up to 3030cc or 3040cc
