  1. could be that the cat isnt as effiecient anymore so it doesnt heat up fast enough and no longer burns the unburnt hydrocarbons while cold.
  2. your alternator is probably bad or you have a short in a wire somewhere. the light doesnt even turn on when you first key on the car?
  3. seems electrical. air flow sensor or maybe ignition related. coil, rotor cap plugs wires. did you wash your engine or something?
  4. you are very lazy. go and measure it yourself
  5. did you start the engine to let the oil get in to the filter and this and that? the level will drop a bit.
  6. its fairly easy to do. just find in online somewhere.
  7. there is no difference. except maybe an engine cover with a lexus emblem instead of a toyota emblem.
  8. either your clutch master cylinder or clutch slave is dead. you should just change both.
  9. i think its something simple like a relay.
  10. the supra 6 speed can handle it. if you want to stick with auto you have to get the auto modified.
  11. the turbos will NOT fit. the trans can handle 450hp max so 400 to be safe
  12. you dont need to take off the big nut. also do you have your parking brake off? and if it still doesnt come off with the brake off then use 2, 6mm bolts and screw them in to the threaded holes in the rotor to push them off.
  13. a tap on the dash leads me to believe that your cluster is the culprit.
  14. you need to be a little more descriptive about what is happenening. but my guess would be your door latch. you prabably need to take the door pannel off and grease up the latch from the inside or just change it.
  15. the ps system uses regular ATF. the valve your talking about is probably only available from the dealer. if you look at your pump there should be 2 vaccum lines that go from under(?) the pump to some vaccum tubes on the engine. if you trace those lines to the pump you will find the valve. that valve controlls the steering effort according to speed.
  16. either your pump is dying or you need to clean the ps solenoid screen. do a search on the cleaning.
  17. i say 400 if you are going to keep it stock. only if you are going to turbo. otherwise the 300 is kind of a dog...
  18. try and give the driveshaftshop a call they can probably make you an aluminum one!
  19. no damage could have been done. its no different from using your parking brake to slow down. i do it all the time ;)

  21. if you fill your car with 16 gallons what is the difference between regular and premium? about $3.20. your going to put in fuel that was not designed for the engine putting it at risk for premature failure just to save an amount of money that cant even buy a #1 at Mc Donalds. sell your car and get a geo metro.
  22. like jibbby said it is very noisy but so is most every clutch type limited slip. if you want a quiet lsd you should probably stick with the supra torsen lsd
