  1. you also mentioned tokico shocks so i factored that in at another $320 or so so yea just spend the extra $200
  2. most anykind of clutch pack type diff such as the kaaz is very noisy. if you can deal with that get a 1.5way or 2 way. if you dont want any noise then get a supra torsen lsd. the best way to be sure is to ask someone that has a clutch type lsd to give you a ride.
  3. i would just spend the extra 200 bucks or so and buy tein basic coilovers. you can make it the height you want instead of hoping the springs give you the stance you want since that is probably what you are after.
  4. could also be the coil.
  5. maybe you should take it back to the shop that replaced the rack
  6. just search for sc300 seat cover on ebay you will get something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lexus-SC300...sQ5fAccessories i dont think you will just find just the single piece you are looking for there but at least everything will match
  7. look on ebay. there are a few on there.
  8. i think its cheaper to buy the $40 bushing kit from daizen rather than me make them.
  9. your steering rack bushings are gone. daizen sells them for like 40 bucks online somewhere just google it. its explained here more: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...sloppy+steering
  10. sometimes the heater control valve cracks and leaks.
  11. it ran before right? i think you must have left something unplugged.
  12. the turbo kit is giving you problems. get a full standalone and get it tuned to get rid of any headaches. it will run alot better too.
  13. pics are a bit small but it looks good!
  14. wait so after saying this, now your father has lots of experience? im confused
  15. no, the only candidate for a suspension swap is a 93+ supra
  16. that looks like a big job. all i can tell you is take your time and good luck...
  17. for 500 whp you could maybe get away with a garrett GT35r or to be on the safe side use a to4r or the ball bearing variation of that turbo if you want quicker spool.
  18. change the engine and trans mounts and also the rear trailing arm bushings. the rubber on the bushing has probably deteriorated and is moving in the hub. take a look at this DIY thread. the proceedure pics are on the second page: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...c=6262&st=0
  19. welcome! i really like the mesh wheels! what are they?
  20. maybe change the pieces that hold the brake pads in the caliper if new ones didnt come with the new calipers.
  21. you may as well change your waterpump and thermostat while you are in there ;)
  22. my brother had to change his ecu on his 95 LS400. he had a hesitation when accelerating and sometimes the car would die as he came to a stop. after he changed the ecu it ran perfectly. i think he got a rebuild for $350 or so.
  23. you could always have another a/c shop take a look at it.
  24. do a search and look upp how to run the fuel pump constant. you just need to jump two terminals on a check connector. remember how to do that and when it dies again try that. it seems like the car is running out of fuel if it dies away. if it runs after you jump the connector its probably your fuel pump ecu. or my other guess would be a relay which dies after it heats up or something. but if thats the cause you can replace the fuel pump ecu or just have another relay wired in to power your fuel pump.
  25. I agree. that would make the most sence
