  1. Wouldn't this be covered by the longer emission system warranty?
  2. J-to-tha-izzust leave tha air playa off n it wiznill makes crazy loud noise.
  3. I don't know, but I'm hoping someone else will know, so they can tell us! ← I just looked at Classic Lexus inventory and they don't list any 2006 ES yet.
  4. When are these going to be at dealers?
  5. Somehow I don't think she's a real model.
  6. Coasting in neutral, you don't have total control of the car. Even with automatics, in a panic situation, a person might be unable to put it in gear, or a least not quickly enough for an evasive move. As I understand it, in overdrive, a car is freewheeling when coasting anyway if it's not on cruise control. And there lies another problem. If you're in neutral, what's gonna happen to the cruise?
  7. Hmm, T-IV not synthetic, I am 60% leaning toward Amsoil. Magnuson-Moss Warranty law requires automakers to provide OEM parts free if they are the only qualified parts to work in our cars. I don't see Toyota giving out T IV ATFs. It is interesting that you have no problem for Toyota making lots of money off us. RX in NC posted he is not surprised if you show up in Toyota's payroll somewhere, I tend to agree. ← Have you asked for your free trans fluid? If not, please do, and then let us know how your litigation turns out. :)
  8. Is that pretty expensive usually? ← If it's the compressor it would be.
  9. Everything works. Probably gonna cost much to fix the A/C on the first car.
  10. Yeah and all that stuff melts and drips on the garage floor. Yech. When we lived in Akron the slush would build up on the fender openings and freeze, sometimes to the point that it was rubbing on the tires. I'm glad I don't have to contend with that any more. If I go to Ohio for Christmas and if it just rains, the salt comes up out of the road and my car gets all white. I hit the car wash as soon as I get back home.
  11. Time for an engine detail no? ;) ← its 99 RX300 i want to go for K & N intake but ill see , so one of my friends said that its not the one with the blue red circle he said thats MASS AIR FLOW thingg so could be the other one but NO cluee !! ← I think it is the other one with the red only circle. It's in the air stream coming from the air filter and that should be the IAT.
  12. Damn glad I didnt see your pic late at night...frickin' frightening! LOL ← Don't like my haircut? :D
  13. I'm not sure about the GX but they all probably work the same. Look for a black box with yellow warning label like "caution hot" and maybe a lightning bolt, somewhere near the battery. That would be the resistor that cuts the power to the high beams, thus making them DRL's when the lights aren't turned on. There is a twist plug coming out of that box with a wire that goes to the high beams. If you pull that plug, the DRL's will go out. If you want to leave it that way, put electrical tape over the connections to keep moisture out. Here's a pic of the resistor box on a IS300.
  14. If you don't have a 94 and up ES300 then you ought to be OK. You have a 94 GS. It's older than 97 and it's not an ES300. I don't see how it could be more clear.
  15. Try these guys. They have HID conversions for most lights and they are Lexus guys. http://www.advancedautomotiveconcepts.com/
  16. I got the forbidden !Removed! site on Firefox. But copy and pasted link to IE and it worked ok.

    Let See!

There was a county in Ohio that had all numbers. We used to go there to get our plates. For a few years I had GUNSRUS on my Firebird.
  18. Lighten up man. Nobody said the car looked bad. :D
  19. I don't know where it is on that vehicle, but I can suggest you look at the inake and find the wires that come out there. One of them has got to be for the IAT.
  20. Why is not a moving violation? Were you parked in the HOV lane ? Just wondering. ←
  21. Be sure and let us know when you meet your local Geico agent. Maybe take some pics of the office. :D I really don't know why you start threads if you don't want discussion of factors involved in the topic. :D
  22. Give us a break, dude. You're either in or you're out. That's up to you. Enough with the whining. :chairshot:
  23. As stated above, if I only insured for liabilty my IS premiums would be even lower than Kewl's.
  24. I don't think it matters that much if you're only insuring for liability.
