Instead of Teins, I would opt. for the Harder JICs Shocks and Coilovers. They're much better on Twistees and very tight turns, and I believe they're lighter than the Teins. Also some good sticky rubber. I believe welding the seats down to the body is a really good idea. A good weld job will prevent future damage, or worse lift off. Good Luck with this.

We, Formula 500 and Star Mazda guys, don't have traction on our cars. To little Torque and HP. I also know the GT, GTS, DP, and FIA cars don't have traction either. F1 uses something similar to traction control, but William BMW and Renault uses something called a Limited Variation Control. It looks almost like a limited slip, but it's small. SPORTcoupe300 You should stay off the Adam Sandler Movies :D . Limited Slip is better on Cornering, and yeah, trac control should be left for the big LS, in my opinion.

I really think you should talk to those mechanics and have them fix it. I used to live in NY, and some of them were too, but since they repaired your Steering pump, they're responsible--as the diagram above states. They didn't know what they were doing, which is bad on their behalf. If they still don't, file with the BBB. A scar on their record can be damaging, and the BBB pushes the issue until it's resolved.

I couldn't tell you. It could be anything. If your power steering is still whinning, unscrew the power steering fluid cap. Turn your car on, and turn your steering wheel to the extreme, both directions. The Steering fluid should bubble a lot, until the it stops whinning and stops foaming. The stalling could be anything. Have the guys who did your power steering, and tell them, you did something to my car--the car's stalling for cry'n out loud. Do something :)

:D What year is your SC UCF3? I want to get an Injen but mine is 96 and they only list 92-95. Also....do you have any more info for the company through which you got the HIDs and how easy was the install/how awesome the outcome? Actually, mine's a 95 like it says below--my signature. I got HID kit from SPW, and right now their Website isn't coming up If you google HID Kits, you should come up with a few. APC makes an HID kit, you could try them. Remember, these kits are considered illegal by many states, but if you want legal ones, and you can make it to SoCal. Clearcorner.com can make you one. They're expensive and they require your SC to be physically be at their shop. OH yeah, Stillen's selling JIC Strut tower Braces for $140 and $260. <_<

No, that can't be. I believe Toyota has a dark blue, but this is like the Nissan Skyline Blue, and the Honda Civic Si. I have my doubts about this one.

I think I've seen a dark blue paint option in a Lexus broucher. Blue is definitely an option on Camrys and Corollas, so that option should be for the Lexus line. <_<

Yeah, that's why i didn't buy the CDs. I won't be able to help you with the program, but if it's a .pdf file, you should be able to print it from Adobe. Sorry I couldn't help.

If you don't drive your SC during winter, you could take the housing of the front cover. You could probably do it over a weekend.

<_< You really think the SC is that bad on curves compared to the IS. I've felt the SC has a better chance of winning on the curve, but since I don't own an IS it would be harder for me to feel the difference.

I'm thinking there might be a gasket leaking. Since you mentioned you were driving at 85mph, a gasket somewhere broke and is leaking oil. I'm not sure about it being the transmission either, but just in case it is, look at your transmission fluid level in the bay. By the way, you never mentioned the colour of the smoke, or what it smells like? It's too bad you don't live closer to Maryland; then i could take a better look at it, or take it apart.

I wouldn't say that. The New Solara looks closer to the New SC430 and future 330 than the older SCs. Even the future Supra looks similar to new Celica and SC430. I believe they're trying to keep the looks similar to each other. I don't know about you guys but it makes them look like they're not even trying anymore.
