The last time I had my car steam cleaned, it cost me $90, but they did such a good job, non of the stickers were legible. So this time I decided to clean it myself, and I did a good job. Check it out

Perhaps you're battery life is below starting. How old is your battery? If it's old-- with corrosion and just nasty lookin, get a new one, clean the terminal with some battery cleaning solvant, and tighten down the bolts. That should take care of the problem. If it doesn't, something else is wrong with your car. As a rule of thumb you should run your car for at least 20minutes per day, so that the Alternator has a chance to charge your battery. Believe it or not, my LS is my winter car. I use my SC during the summer and the rest of the time. So far we haven't had a heavy snow storm, but if we get a foot of snow, that prevents me from going out of the house. That stops me from getting into an accident. Besides, have a Honda Civic with two snow tires. Excellent Rally Car

Sorry I had to move this post to the LS400/430 section. I don't own the 95s but I'll try. If you don't have enough space to work with, you might need to take the cover, and the airbox out, on the right. The Battery on the left. If that scares you, you could take it to any place that replaces them--PepBoys, Walmart, Autozone etc. First try turning your lights on--low beam first, and attempt to pull the bulb out. The average bulb will need to be turned counter-clockwise- with a little thrust inwards. If you can't turn it, you could use a pair of needle nose plyers, and twist. If the one you pull out is large and ON, chances are you've pulled the low Beam. Replace that bulb. Try this out and see if it works.

I've done some minor work with my 94. So far, I've attached a pair sidemarkers, non-OEM, Pioneer 9000R Stereo system with NAV, Wilwood 13" Brake Upgrade--need new rims, too $$. I've also upgraded to an aftermarket HID kit from SPW--Website doesn't work anymore, and 35% Tint. I have more plans down the road, just not yet. :)

Try Clear Corners. I'm impressed with the LEDs Tails, and probably will attempt to create a set in the future.

I think it's a little over priced. I would ask around $9k and move upwards. Before you buy it, take it to Lexus and ask them to give you a complete Pre-owned certification check-up / w repair prices. Also, you personally should check out for oil leaks underneath the cars. look for the factory stickers underneathe the hood. If they're not there, the car's been in an accident. Definitely look for overspray in odd locations. Look at the paint, and look for major flaws--like swirl marks, dings and dents. Remember, if there's a dent in one of the curved areas, it will cost you about a grand to fix it. If there are a lot of problems drop your price down to $7k and move upwards. Because you have list of problems and prices, show them the list and slowly move upwards. I would cut-off communication around $12,500 for the ideal used car. good luck

I think all of us agree, the Supra Tails are ugly on the SCs, not to mention you'd have to fill-in the corners with something. I wonder why the 91 SCs have painted tails. <_<

my plate is folded with the state name not showing. looks a lot better on the SC's, and i'm in cali where we also have those laws. and yes, i have never been pulled over for that, yet BlackSC4. Would you mind posting a pic so that some of us can see what it looks like?

Not that I know about. I think you could attach an aftermarket unit, and that could work, but you'll loose the functionality of your OEM key and remote.

It sounds like you locked your Steering Column. When your ignition doesn't turn, try turning the steering wheel in the loose direction and turn the ignition key. It should come loose. If that doesn't work, try pushing the shifter towards the radio until it clicks. I've experienced dirt and grime build-up between the shifter stick and plastic cover. Cleaned it out and it never happened again. When my dad had my LS before,he actually took it to the dealer, and they wanted to replace the entire ignition column. :chairshot:

Here's the question, did your throttle slow down at all? If it does, then your trac is fine The car pushing to the right, could be based on the treadlife or tread pattern of your tires--one being higher than the other.

Way ahead of yu. Hopefully it won't backfire. We have the same type of rule in Maryland. Our laws over here states, you're front windshield shouldn't have anything that blocks the glass, including stickers(state issued as well). Somebody over here, actually folded his plate so that it would fit his bumper. It looks kind of interesting, and it fits the display law, and I don't think he was pulled over since then.
