  1. Next time mention what year the car is . It is normal for a ES 300 92-93 seem to rust the brake and fuel lines if it is not regularly cleaned and rustproofed. It is usually much cheaper to bend your own lines to replace damaged ones and is rather simple to fabricate with a tool kit.
  2. sea foam is not for a tranny. You need a flush ,of course it will look black again as it is still old dirty fluid in there. The solenoid is problem plugged with debris so the new fluid has cleaning agents to loosen it , the inline filter will catch all of the debris to keep it from circulating back into the tranny.
  3. Sounds like the drivers window is your problem , i would start with the wire loom running to the door from the body then check the rest of the door circuit. It is the only window that is based wholly in that door. So you have either a motor or wire problem as a switch usually affects them all.
  4. Turning the wheel to unlock the truck has nothing to do with the keys or immobilizer , it has to do with the steering wheel locking pall being activated. You just turn the wheel the other way to release the pressure from the wheel and it will be freed when turning the key.
  5. Best bet is to flush the fluid even if it is not driving differently to you. Then add a inline tranny filter to catch new debris. If it needs to be fixed i would drop the pan and the valve body to clean it out.
  6. They are LCD panels behind the glass so that will cause it to work slowly.
  7. about a 10 year old joke and has been relaced with multiple car manufactures instead of Lexus.
  8. Actually there is a thread with a compartive pic of the new oem bushing and the aftermarket one and they are the exact same with the same PN# on them.
  9. You may have something sticky like tree sap tieing up the motor.
  10. you have a wiring short , more than likely as the other threads with similar problems suggest you havea short in your trunk arm harness causing the revese light to turn on and tell the ecu it is in reverse.
  11. You do need to remove it and reseal the edges. Clean the old one away and refill with new fluid as well as clean the mesh and magnets while you are in there.
  12. 32 with XM on a prepaid year. I like the service but the price went up and i don't think i will follow after it is over.
  13. On low profile tires it is a great thing to have on as they can get damaged sidewalls from impacts on larger truck style ones it does not make a huge difference.
  14. Any auto parts store will have a light lube like silicone spray. Rust proofing is done professionally and added to the whole car using spray guns and wands.
  15. I would check to make sure the wire is not melted.
  16. New fluid has lots of additive in it from Toyota to clean any debris in the tranny. The best way is to add an external filter after the flush to capture the tiny debris that the oem screen cannot. after the first flush the filter will need to be changed after a month as it will hold alot of the sludge build up that is released from new fluid. Do this and you can then so drain and fills if wanted but you can't beat a drain in removing dirt.
  17. Spraying a lube always helps reduce the noise as the bushing ages and contracts when cold. Using a thicker rust proofing style pray works much better. Even better is to get the whole car rust proofed as it will lube every bushing and seal in the car and make it like new for a few months. Also reduces wind noise in pillar less door cars.
  18. When the LS came out in 90 it shares everything but some high end option only in Japan such as the tv ,rear seat controls for the radio and heater, reclining seats, cloth seats was the main option even on the "C" model, rear reclineable seats as well as the driver being able to move the passenger front seat forward and reclining the rear seats with buttons by the ashtray . The North American market finally caught up in about 2001 with the ultra cars.,
  19. It may not have been a control arm priblem in the first place but a strut rod bushing being worn causing it to flex out of place and break again. For some reason i find the driver side suspension gets more damaged than anything else.
  20. your egr may be sticky also, it needs to be removed to be cleaned properly.
