  1. The 01-05 will fit fine as they also have large brakes.
  2. If he is going to have a winter and summer set then he should get the best possible summer tire available . To me that is the Toyo T1-R . It is leap and bounds beyond any other tire i have driven.
  3. You don't adjust it just lube the mechanism
  4. It is called a strut rod linkage with the bushings also being able to be replaced by themselves for less. Spend some money and save some time. Buy a new rod and a pair of bushings that way you can get new ones in and take the old ones and press in new bushings . So when they go and they will you will be ready to swap them out quick and for less.
  5. My power steering pump bearing went and cause dthe same noise problem also.
  6. sounds like the hazard relay is blown but you probably forgot to hook back up the hazard button which is why it is not working.
  7. Any good rotor will already have the finish cross cut by a mchine for an even level but still rough finish.
  8. Your strut rod busings are probably dead on the left side cauing the car to pull with the added weight.
  9. Any dead shock will cause the vibration at high speed. Replace with oem or an aftermarket KYB which is the oem shock.
  10. They have an issue working on north American cars which is why only TTE Europe sells them . Besides 10 000 for that little horsepower is ridiculas , you could build a nice turbo kit for less and it would have atleast 100 +
  11. wire should be there somewhere. It is part of the harness.
  12. If the brakes were dragging the heat would be very noticable and at high speed would create a wobble.
  13. Funny thing is the brake booster does go bad but many people have no idea that it is broken. Did the rebuild kit come with only springs or what was included in it? I know mine is slowly going as when i hit the brakes , if i release right away and press it again it will get harder and stop much better. My friend also had to replace his for the same reason but his pedal would hit the floor.
  14. There a a few types of multi beam bulbs. One has a metal shield and a motor to move its cut off . one is a smaller bulb that changes the colour and another is a dual hid bulb with 2 ballasts.
  15. Get some threadlocker gasket sealent from an auto parts store. You need a medium hold nothing to stiff. let the car cool and then remove the bolt , clean it and then spread a small amount on the threads ,reinsert and the leak will no longer pass the threads .
  16. moved to the general discussions forum. it looks nice but i still would be ashamed of saying i own or even drive a Hyundai or Kia.
  17. 20's on an IS is way too big for such a small car. 19's are best.
  18. You can add it to either of them ,check the general maintenance section for sea foam threads and instructions. My bank 1 rich is now gone , and my maf is very clean.
  19. pulleys don't make coolant bubble. It is probably a headgasket leak or your description is throwing us off or you need a new mechanic
  20. What is even more funny than the pun is the idea i earn anything ... LOL I am glad to help and it give me a warm fuzzy feeling. One other thing to help it move faster is to clean the whole seat belt with a mr clean magic eraser to remove the built up make up and other dirt slowing it down.
  21. The rod has either snapped or the nut on the end of the wiper motor is broken,
