  1. SOunds like worn bushings ,shocks or out of round tires. Start by increasing your tire pressure 5 psi
  2. The lock cylinder by the coin holder only locks the gas and trunk filler from a break in or valet, as most would give a valet key and lock the trunk. If the key will not let it release does pulling the release pop the trunk?
  3. Don't forget to lube inside the rubber piston boots.
  4. Do it before it burns the motor which is a common problem on the 430 mirrors

  6. It will always open just a crack ,then it has 2 heights to stop in , halfway has an edge and full open.
  7. 95 and up LS400's are the only Lexus rims that will fit.
  8. There is a very large thread with pics and ideas in it with lots of explanations for the LS.
  9. Agreed that is how i did mine 9 years ago , i think i was the first as i had a broken taillight to test
  10. I never have paid for nitrogen it is always a free for me atleast.
  11. When it is worn it will shake the engine .
  12. I can't hear mine for the life of me . I would go to an car audio shop and ask them to dyno mat the relay should be about $20
  13. I think AEM makes a new filter that does not require oil and has mulitple sizes to fit your enclosure for width height and length as well as diameter for the pipe.
  14. I never related conditions of a car to an airplane ? Is that supposed to be a rebuttal ?
  15. There is a much smaller area on the GS than the LS which is why it is smaller.

  18. On my 98 -00 The compressor should be located in front of the right front wheel behind the bumper also the release valve for the front is located there also. The rear release valves are in the right side of the trunk. Do you hear the compressor running at all>? Hope it helps. I would try and find out if there is an pressure sensor which may be faulty causing the system to think it is under inflated and running the compressor to get it up to the right psi.
  19. Hmm , i would start by either buy a subscription to the Lexus online manuals or just buying them as you sound very mechanically aprt , it will give you a break down of which parts to check and replace. You may have a purge valve issue.
  20. The bearing was still pretty good but was making a slight whirring. I wish i could have just pressed out the bearing and then found the replacements as it is well over priced at the dealer for them. I am a proactive car guy. I change everything before it needs to be done . With my mileage and its second TB change i decided all of the bearings ,pulleys and tensions had to be replaced to prevent any issues later. The car is really quiet now , all i hear is the fan and the injectors ticking away at the high mileage i have. I will be replacing the clutch fan with an electric one eventually to reduce drag on the engine for more power and gas mileage. The biggest factor is how much quieter it will be after it no longer has that things always whirring away in there. Don't worry DC once i find a spectra blue mica i am all over it. It helps my wife loves the color also but it is hard to come by. Its rarity is also buying me time in replacing her car.It will feel more than great if not amazing after especially with the air suspension.
  21. Where did you get it fixed? BTW update your profile as there is no EX300.
