  1. you might want to change the wheel hib bearing now also ,as they tend to slowly go bad , and yes as you alreayd know the abs sensor is in there for good to be never removed. the reason why to changeit now is because the new one will seize in there again and when the bearing goes you will end up buying a new sensor all over again
  2. is there a big difference between the cold and hot levels when leaving the car hot and coming back to it cold? If so you need a new rad cap
  3. does coolant flow out of the rad res ? I doubt it is air in the system as it would need tons to be that much of a difference, so unless you have a head gasket leak and are lossing coolant i wouldn;t think air. rad caps are also a small possibility but still one, make sure your fan is working first
  4. lsd's are for performance while traction control is for safety TC won;t get you through deep ruts but an lsd can since it is locking the drive wheels together for equal torque while the TC just slows down a wheel from spinning
  5. Pretty much already expanded on what i meant by other members Basically the back of the nut where it meets the rims have a slightly different shaped cone than other oem rims , so it needs to have a toyota oem shaped cone on the back get a nice set of rims you like either the same size or upgrade to a larger size or use your stock rims for summer and get a cheap set of black steel rims for winter.
  6. are you sure you have the right hub centric plastic aligners? it may be warped rotors?
  7. oem toyota rims need the oem toyota nut base which matches the oem rims
  8. what is your budget? buy one Image dynamics dvc or kaption which is very cheap and get a good mono block amp alpine makes good multimedia there speakers and amps are not that great
  9. check the fan to see if it is working properly
  10. hoe your rims don't fit. They stick out and rub like a mad man, so saying they fit because the bolt hole align it meaningless since you can't drive hard or carry anything or one anymore.
  11. did you get your alternator checked? Have you made sure your auto turn off of the interior lights and headlights are turning off? It may be draining the battery by not turning off. It could be the drivers door pin not extending and retracting properly causing the ecu to think you never left the car .
  12. If the car was in a front end crash it may have been damaged or incorrectly repaired. It may either be shorting the wires somewhere around the bottle. Try disconnecting it and see what happens. the year might have helped also
  13. plastic x is not harsh at all wax also works well
  14. you might be running so lean it is causing you to press more on the gas pedal to compensate ,thus causing the ecu to not engage the shift solenoid for t/c lock up
  15. no problem i have family in fort worth area but haven't been in 10 years atleast. just need to try and localize the problem and see where it goes which is why i mentioned the tranny first glad it worked , now if you could only convince my wife i am amazing lmao
  16. never heard of enforcer ,so drop it from your list clifford is the best then viper and code after that compustar is ok but not the best it has features before the others but with less technology backing and testing ,which is why the others are slower to bring out newer features until thoroughly tested btw clifford and viper are now the same company clifford is the high end and viper is the basic
  17. check your tranny fluid level but i agree with dg
  18. Dealers no longer sell fender or bumper guards as they would be liable for disarming your airbag system since the correct speeds would not be judged by the sensors rendering tehm useless and you in intesive care because the vehicle did not sustain the pressure of impact but forwarded the motion to the occupants causing them more damage than nessacary as the crumple zones, airbags and pretensioners could not work. Glad you RX was sort of ok , but the risk to my family is not work a vehicle.
  19. water in the dist cap, did you check that . Never apply water to a cold engine or one that is off it pools and causes all sorts of problem
  20. Stevie how is the expansion valve connected to the left and right side controls? Agreed ,,what year>?
  21. actually it is a Toronto based site now with worldwide members but mainly in Toronto.
  22. you wont notice pining with any grade gas unless the engine is overloaded or badly carbonized the timing will !Removed! once knock is sensed by the ecu
