Some filters are a pain to get to definatly I have a question for all those who have changed their filters because of a problem with it where do you buy gas in a big city or rural areas? do you go tot hte bottom of the tank before refilling? premium or regular gas thanks jsut takign a non scientific poll
  2. sorry i misread the part about pressing the gas kills it instantly i thought it read pressing the gas kept it from dying do you have any black smoke out of the tailpipes>? does it idle normally until you hit the gas>? might be the throttle position sensor but that usually will never cause a shut down just poor performance like lees mentioned it may be gas realted
  3. it is great when new members try and help that is what a forum is about but telling them to try this and try that because you think it might work is wasting their time from the symptoms noted it is the same ol suspect the iacv egr and throttle body i have answered this question over 100 times with the exact same result ,the car is fixed

  6. going rate? where? i don;t think you could buy used normal chrome wheel caps for $20 the gold is perfect but could use another coat of clear to make them perfect
  7. the iacv may move but doesn;t mean any air is getting through it search iacv
  8. you already know a search would do you good try the es sectinoas it is the same engine carbon in your IACV is your problem

  21. A dead cat will only maek you smell raw gas a clogged cat will cuase a rough engine so it is one or the other for those symptoms Kind of don;t think it is a plugged cat. Pretty sure you have a cap and rotor change them first
  22. the airbag light and cel is not related in anyway Glad you searched and found what you needed. For alot cheaper i would get a motorvac for $100 and it should help
