  1. i agree , fine work on research keep looking or beat the owner down in price
  2. it dones really do wonder but returns the car back to the way it shuold be. btw what octane gas do you use?
  3. VGR i guess that is why i am still driving my ES which had a slipping tranny after multiple fluid flushes not drains . I added the filter, it cleaned the fluid of the debris the mesh could not catch. So all in all who do you think might know more about adding the filter? me or you? Proper flow? the tranny fluid is 25psi to the cooler! with debris and cold fluid it drops to 3-5psi because it already has a blockage. Please enlighten me if you have some knowledge i don;t but don;t contradict me with an unfounded best guess.
  4. I love how their is not one comment on "MB sucks" btw blake all S32- and 430's have a very adjustable seat with the lower seat pad extending forward to get behind your knees. I love the seats especially the ones with dynamics for the pnematic lumbars
  5. sounds like you need a new mechanic btw do you use premium of regular gas? oh btw it has 3 o2 sensors one infront one behind and one after the cat
  6. if it fits a 96 camry it will fit your 96 ES and yes you HAVE to use premium gas
  7. an external tranny filter looks like a regular fuel filter but is made for tranny fluid. It basically works by cutting the return line from the oem tranny cooler and placing this one in between the cut hose. It will filter out the debris that the oem one has no chance of catching. Costs about $50 and takes about 10 minutes to install
  8. ltos of info do an open search for sensor or bank it will tell about replacment ones to avoid
  9. it is behind the housing
  10. might be sucking up something or it w3as excess oil from a badly oild filter?
  11. for the same price as a "fuel injection service" you could have had a motorvac but i don;t know what your guy did to service it, he may have dropped a can of cleaner in the tank for all i know?
  12. I love the MB's look for many cars I can't stand the way they break so damn easily. As well as the option list longer than my leg for things that should be standard in a luxury car. I find them dreadful in snow even with a phenominal esp system. I also love the S55 a real "in the pit of your gut" kind of car. On of my favorites to drive around next to the SL55. I left domestics after thinking they were perfect. Funny i look back and i used to have to keep extra starters ,alternators and other parts as it just kept breaking and i thought it was normal. Until i got rid of it and bough my first Japanese (Lexus). I was floored and still am that i fix stuff i break not stuff that was underengineered. BTW i work for M.B.
  13. If it is stuck with carbon it won;t move if it is freed up like most with throttle body cleaner then it can move again ,i didn;t see it but did it look black with carbon?
  14. now that is a much better idea
  15. for your year and part of the world the 2 types are going to be adjustable and non check the price to determine which is which. Different years are either sealed or sleeved/inserts
  16. I agree with ifixem with no exact details of problem nothign conclusive can be known. hell it could be the park neutral switch being level with the moon :P
  17. glad to here it was taken care of
  18. what do plan or need to do with the upgraded brakes?
  19. btw 1995 aluminum doesn't rust and that is what the AEM is made of. So putting 2+2 together does not equal 4 with that statment
  20. lol you got me pinned kyle. :) do it the easy and cheap way remove the water ballast under the air filter chamber and use a K&N drop in.
  21. umm have you thought about removing it and cleaning it?
  22. your not stuck with a pioneer unit as i dno;t think any new head unit will control the old oem changer. get what you want from scratch since it needs to be totally ripped otu and started over completly if doing anything.
  23. I commend an excellent post that was beautifully researched.... first. You alreayd did every thing pretty much needed, i tell members to get a motorvac and an inline tranny filter which should make the tranny stay bolted to the engine for a long time since the oem metal screen mesh is useless. I don;t agree with 87 octane , i always see lower mpg on all 3 of my cars with anything but premium.
  24. searching and finding out what everyone else said about these things is the best and only way to start a question. If you know others have them already then it is not a specific question to your car exclusivly but a very broad one. That being said their should be more than enough info posted on this website and the rest of the web to answer all of your questions. But by asking a few very basic questions any research you did was very basic. But that would then be saying you just wouldn't like someone to give you all the answers without any work on your own part.
