  1. Newport it is the saem problem with most pictures ,it is in the shadows which makes the gaps look filled just like NEO said. If you biring up the white balance in photoshop you would see your huge gaps especially under the car.
  2. It won the sema new product award. It is supposed to be nice but i have not seen it upclose ,nor do i have a clue how it is supposed to work in a taillight that is not round like the ones they always picture. I want to know if it has diodes on the rear of the arms as well as the front to give a good reflection from the orignal designed reflectors. Also it may be bright but is it bright enough for daylight driving.
  3. The design is garbage, it is known in the performance community that any intake system that makes the engien breath its own very hot air is nothign more than a noise maker. Adding a pipe just for noise is of no gain other than to say you have it, it loses horespower, gas milage and maintance costs increase. Why anyone still buys these things i have no clue but i still see spinners on integras.
  4. they bolt on the actual mirrors are reversed as the driver sits from a diferent position so the "larger than they seem" mirror is now on the left. Needs to have wires repinned on the harness to make it a clean install. add a realay which is 13 wires and a switch
  5. small metal can i think it has white and blue with a red symbol
  6. variables that can make lower octane produce higher milage more highway distance travelled colder weather bad ignition timing or reduced spark from wires ,plugs, rotor and caps.
  7. Funny i love my Movado and hate rolex with a passion. To me a rolex is like huge chrome rims with so much edges it is always blinging at you so you can't miss it. Besides it is a nice movement but nothing worth the money . I would much rather have an everday seamaster and not the james bond one either.
  8. It looks nice but you are assuming the JDM panel just pops into a left hand drive car. Most times that won't work in reverse. Only thing needed to make them work is a toyota folding mirror relay,it can be from any toyota. Also those mirrors have a feature called shakey mirrors which heats the glass and shakes the glass to remove frost and water very quickly.
  9. The best way is to get educated on the subject. There are no new answers or questionbs not already made. Find out what bulb you use. Then go to www.hidplanet.com and find out what is good bad and just plain crap.
  10. I got the LS about 3 weeks ago. So far it has JIC adjustable suspension. An Lsportline exhaust A custom made intake Clear corners Red taillights to remove orange signal A new key reprogramed New Lexus script mats Ordered and prepped wood and leather wheel and shifter about to be stained Never mind in a few years I already ordered a body kit eyelids 20 and 19 inch rims finish the exhaust piping to remove restrictions. Which should all be done by the end of august
  11. In buisness very little costs anything especially when it comes to TV. Say it is an average of 2000 for paint 2000 for bodywork 500 for custom interior 500 for TV's 500 for audio 500 for 10 hours of custom stereo work 1000 for performance 1000 for rims and tires Total less than 10 000 Most if not all parts are freebies ,which is why they always mention who got them and how amazing every single part is.Free advertising. So the actual out of pocket cost is around 3000 which is mainly for labour for workers cleanign crap and rust up. Persoanlly i get sick looking at how stupid they make a car look. So much potential and they turn a POS car into a flashy bling POS car. Just like the idiot driving a cherokee i saw on the 427 today, he;s going like he thinks he is pimp with his hand spray can painted 2 tone finish with dark and light spots everwhere and the lower half is the brightest neon green i have seen on a car. People do the stupidest things to think they look cool.
  12. I have mine set at 42 with michelin energy's
  13. get 92-94 headlights they are different looking but still the same
  14. Actually you don;t need the swith since it is only a basic momentary switch which is a ground. Easy as anything to make your own switch instead. What panel do you need>?
  15. 95 -96 headlights are a different plastic and the lens actually yellows it is not just a surface buildup to be reomved.
  16. i am moving this to the general discussions section where there is a list of other celebrity lexus owners
  17. Thanks the ladies didn't come with it but they left with it :o
  18. So agree akewlguy I'll skip a few bigmacs to keep my inflated idea of good and bad working perfectly with my cars with me wasting my money on premium. That slight difference can be huge depending on the car and it only gets worse over time as carbon build up.
  19. I almost died laughing yesterday. I pulled into the gas station here and saw this beutiful bentley. I was like wow as i watched the owner dry the car. Then i realised he was drying and wiping his own car that he just ran through the touchless car wash. To boot he did it at a gas station. Now under normal situations i think a bentley owner would get it detailed. then again if he washed it ,it would be at home or even wash it at the touchless and drive home to finishi it. I laughed because this guy was only trying to look all crazy rich but couldn't even afford to not wash it himself. Just staying there to get a few stares and feel good. To me the completly wrong reason you buy a nice car.
  20. A peice of metal in front of a car takes impact and sends it throught the car back to the passangers causeing them to move instead of the intended objective of full crumple zones in a crash which is to have the sheetmetal and other parts bend and fold to absorb the impact so the occupants don;t have to. Either protect the truck or yourself take your pick which is more important. The only ones sold by any manufacturers are ones that have break aways mounts which break off in an impact.
  21. Sounds liek the flush loosened some dirt and it is stuck in the valve body. Either get an external filter or rebuld your valve body. Either way search for more answers
  22. When disassembling a motor you will always have spill in odd spots, once it hits full operating temp it should be gone if all seals are sealed well.
