Part of Lexus original idea is to let the customer always know what is being done with there car.
BTW do you leave the lights in auto when leaving the car?
Do the lights turn off when you walk away?
DO you always double lock them to make sure the lights turn off?
How long does the car sit before it is dead?
WHen you say dead battery does it have no power to run anythign or just not enough to start the engine?
Does the starter even turn over?

you need reverse poles ,i prefer to get a normal one which is easier to find and replace the battery ables as they do get old and were my main issue concerning battery drainage

This is for the C-best or LPS (lexus personal settings) for 97 to present cars.
They can only be set using a lexus scan tool at the dealer.
If your dealer is nice they will do it for free when asked.
Others have said they will only set it once and never again for free which i find dumb since you cannot control them yourself.
So enjoy what your car may or may not be abel to do.

If you can change gears but not when floored i would say you have a valve clogged in you valve body, get it removed and cleaned .
Then get an inline filter.
The dealer is about 100 which i find very cheap for velour carpets especially.
Second choice go to a coin laundry mat and find there big machine although many normal sized ones work fine.
Don't forget your soap and fabric softener .They can take anything out real easy.
Or use a local coin power washer after treating the stain overnight with shout and it should come right out.
New battery cables every 5 years seem like a good maintenance thing.
