There is a yellow button in the glove box which deactivates the trunk button on the door .I would check that first for the trunk issue. Now if the button does not change things i would guess it is all because the alarm is active and won't release the functions as it think its armed still. Try the power door lock buttons if they are inactive also then i would suspect the alarm not being able to turn off. It works by turning the lock cylinder on the drivers door. There is a switch that turns the alarm on and off. You need to remove the door panel and check the wiring for the lock and make sure the door is switch is working properly .If it is something with the brain might be screwed up. I would also look into getting a used key off eBay to fix your broken one as well .

Your alarm is having a problem. Basically there are swithes on the door cylinders which activate and deactivate the alarm when a key is turned in a door. If both doors do neither then you have a problem with the alarm brain. Where did you go to get the key checked to see if it was working? The faq has the radio frequency to validate the key.

If you wash and clean and wax them they will last fine. If left alone and they get small chips they will start to peel or flake.

I don't think i have ever seen Lexus mudflaps even from Japan the home of all car toys. It would have to be aftermarket.

VSC light comes on with the cel as well .

Very nice car. Is it right or left hand drive?Either way the projectors should be similar and they are great with aftermarket HID's. A new steeringwheel means messing with the SRS system. Pretty sure you have dual airbags upfront,unless you get a matching trd wheel the srs light will stay on and the other bag will not work in an accident. The other wheels do not fit,but you can get your orignal wheel refinished in wood if you wanted from a few companies.

It also seems that i raced a guy for $200 and won so i got 20 points added. So i am guessing a win gets you 20 points ,not sure if the bet amount means anything. Also cash does not add to your point level. It is affected by the amount of cars ,parts installed and uninstalled. Remember to atleast always keep 2000 cash on hand and check the race schedul multiple times a day .There are always cheat races where some guys bet a slow car against a really fast one for $500 with the slow one having 10-50 bets for the slow car.What this means is for your 500 bet you can make $5000 if 10 people bet for the slow car and you are the only one who bets on the given winner. I just made 10 000 5 minutes ago and you can too next time it happens. I check about 6 times a day for 1 minute.

I think it is the amp but it may also be the speaker is locking up.

At least if you go to the beach put it in a zip lock.It is only a small rubber seal which will be easily compromised. Or leave your keys in the car and only take the wallet key with you attached to a key ring around your chain if you wear one.

It "can" give you better milage.It depends if you work with the slower throttle response and lower rpm shift patterns .If you try and hold the gas further down it will not change as you would only be making the car work just as hard.

You have to have the Lexus scan tool to make the computer changes. Some dealers do it for free other do it for free the first time only.

Open your glove box it should have the code for it to have one made or matched.

The LS is great on gas if you are a highway cruiser. City can kill you though.

I do my own oil changes. It cost $15 for 3 oem toyota filters and oil plug gaskets. I spend the money on high end synthetics.

I don't think you will get anywhere near 1300 for them especially with no rubber. $500 is more reasonable as for 1300 you can get a whole new set of rims with rubber nowadays
