  3. If it is similar to my 1998 LS the actual relay is on the back of the fuse panel and involves a good bit of work to get it released and turned around.
  4. I find a cali duster scratches really fast on a dark car so i never use mine anymore. I spray the car when it is cool and wipe with one leading edge on the cloth in one direction only.

  10. If you really do not want to spend the money right now. Wetsand the left over clear right off or use a high speed polisher to smooth the finish off. Once done just keep a goo coat of wax and it will atleast look presentable for about $100.
  11. I feel it is a very simple but important part. It will keep the debris out ,water or otherwise. It is also very important for the drag coefficient as well as cooling the engine. It is used to direct the flow of air around the engine ,through the rad and the flow under the car. Without it you will use more gas and not be as effective in cooling the engine . They are also very expensive for the trays for some damn reason.
  12. Like SW03 said. Has it ever been waxed since you bought it yet? How long have you had it and what do you use to protect the finish.
  13. The studs are connected to the hub. It is rather easy to do on the front wheels, there rears should not be much harder once there is a opening for them ,otherwise you will have to remove the hub from the bearing to get the new bolts in and out.
  14. Have you tried turning the key cylinder in the door to lock and holding it there? Does the sunroof also go from fully open to ,tilted up without stopping then?
  15. You should be able to use the bolts from the caliper as bolts to pop off the rotors hats.
  16. Press the hazard button to follow the noise. If it flashes for the hazard they should be using the same relay.
  17. I don't remember reading any threads that said green was bad as coolant. I do remember threads that stated "green should not be mixed with red" as well sticking with the paticular type of coolant the cars came with. Different bases but basically the coolant of red and green are the same. green is basic red is long life pink is extra long life and usually can be used in many engine types.
  18. Monarch is rigth ,you need to KNOW if the plug is wet or not ,just throwing parts at the problem is not going to help you
  19. What parts have been replaced from diagnosis also other preventative maintance done in the past 24 months
  20. I think lexus link is no more.
  21. The car seen last year was the NEW IS 250/350 that did not have a 500 engine but was a Toyota Crown 4 door cut down the middle to reduce the overall length to fit the new drivetrain they were testing. I have seen the actual car that was on the German circuit in person . Another overzealous writer looking for a good story that doesn't exist
