  1. Hi Thank you so much for the reply. Actually the car has run 260,000 and I had it for 3 years but I suppose the distributor assembly has not been changed. I checked already the spark plug of #5 cylinder and it is a bit darker then others ( I suppose it is wet so not firing properly). Actually after cleaning the distributor and rotor (with no effect!) I have already ordered a new cap and rotor from Lexus NZ. Just one question: Should I replace the high-tension cords when they are apparently OK in resistance ( as per Lexus service manual ) ? Thanks Mstore
  2. Hi , I am having a very tricky problem. The 5th cylinder of my Windom 1992 eng: 3VZ-FE just stopped working and obviously the power went down and consumption –up. The funny thing is that the compression is OK, there is a spark between high-tension cord and engine body/spark plug but the 5th cylinder still do not working at all. What I did is following: 1. All spark plugs were replaced with new ones (NGK BCPR6EP-11) 2. The resistance of high-tension cord ( 5th)was measured and it was found less then 25 kOhm ( exact value 1.9 kOhm) 3. The compression of 5th cil. was measured twice and found 190 PSI. 4. The distributor cap and rotor were cleaned from dust. After all this there is no change and the 5th cylinder still do not working at all. Is there is anyone who can help me to identify what the problem is about and possibly how to fix it? Regards Mstore
