  1. I still belive the cheapest and best way is to clean the whole interior with a cold bucket of water and a Mr. Clean majic eraser. It did wonders on my interior.
  2. Aiming the lights down would be of no real consequence as the light distribution on the earlier LS lenses are horrible to say the least. Adding HID's and not a projector to focus the beam is a little better for the driver but unbelievably annoying for every oncoming driver.
  3. can the car rev freely in neutral and in gear? Details.
  4. Change your pcv latley ? How much oil do you have?
  5. Get a 9volt battery to test speakers . As wel as using a multimeter. I would also buy a $20 wiring manual from the dealer . Also try http://www.planetsoarer.com
  6. Door pins are usually located on the edge of the doors frames . It tells the car if a door is open or not which can activate the alarm or interior light. I would check to make sure the rear liftgate is sealing tight as well by shaking it to make sure the interior light does not turn on at all.
  7. Well if it makes you feel any better the radio is a self contained unit and it is remove by the vent and 4 screws. So even if they take the radio out to adapt it . It would be of no problems to you in any way.
  8. Very nice. If i didn't know the 600h was coming soon i would be so jealous. :(
  9. Is there not a letherique supplier close to you who could match it properly by doing the job themselves?
  10. JDM VIP LS400-430 complete conversion
  11. JDM VIP LS400-430 complete conversion
  12. Go to a window repair shop and ask them to fill it like a windsheild.
  13. What was the last grit you used on the lens? Are you using a medium cut with a high speed or orbital polisher?
  14. I know just how she feels. I worked for Benz for 2 years and lost my job because of it being outsourced to an outside company. I was supposed to run the system for them as well ,problem being is there are still racist people left in the world. Live to fight another day.
  15. OMG , i heard it takes time but not that long, the most is usually 2 hours a side. Have you gotten the ridges out or smoothed yet?
  16. The new one makes the previous gen ES's (all years) seem like a tercel. Enjoy as i can see the excitement as you updated your Sig already. :)
  17. You need to remove your headlights and clear the lenses by sanding them on the inside to remove the ridges. There is another thread to find out about that ,that was just started.
  18. Normally i would agree with not needing an extended warr. But if you have air suspension then it will pay for itself when it finally lets go.
  19. I woudl save some money and get a OEM style HID kit for an exact match with ultimate brightness.
  20. I guess since you are sanding already that you have them apart already. The best temps i like is 250-300 degrees as it is not hot and takes about 5 minutes before i start to pry slightly ,then retry ever few minutes after heating again. Make sure you remove all clips bulbs and small plastic pieces before inserting into the oven. Sorry it may take alittle to sand it down , Also make sure you use a flat sanding block to reduce optical distortion. A palm sander would speed up the process as well.
  21. Costs me 70-80 a tank try http://www.gasbuddy.com/
  22. I meant searching this site which has a huge exhaust thread for the LS. JIC and a few others make a system for it.
  23. mainly 194 bulbs the knee ones are smaller and annoying to fit so just buy universal leds and wire them in.
  24. To polish the headlights which have been done to many OEM lights successfully . You need to remove both sides. Place them in an oven to open the seals ,it takes about 10 minutes to release. Get sand paper and smooth down the plastic ridges until smooth then keep following up with lighter and lighter grit. Start with 200 and end with 2000. Then use a compound and a polisher to finish the clear look. After that you could install set of hid's and projectors from a BMW and have amazing light with factory looks.
