A couple of years ago, our dog's left leg would sometimes tremble. A year and some months later he stopped eating or vomited after doing so. His blood tests turned out good but an xray revealed massive stomach cancer. He was 11 years old - part lab/part some other breed with upright ears. Did you check with a Toyota dealership or trusted independent shop for pricing? If you know that the only component that needs replacing is the AC filter condenser and perhaps refrigerant, then you should be able to get a service quote over the phone

60K miles? I'm fairly certain that our 2006 RX400h spark plug replacement recommendation is 120,000 miles.

Does this mean that when ambient temperature is -25, many are calling tow trucks? I am curious as to whether those with 4 cylinder engines are more likely to start their vehicles. Perhaps if you buy the most powerful (Cold Cranking Amps) battery you can find, your vehicle will be more likely to start at such low temperatures.

Low tire tread life is somewhat typical of OEM tires. Our RX400h needs tires before they had 22,000 miles or so, because of wear due to the tire compound and slight out-of-alignment condition. The dealership did not charge me for an alignment but I had to pay for the tire replacements. Aftermarket tires typically have much longer life than OEM, and Michelin tires are often rated very highly by Consumer Reports with lifespans ranging from 40,000 to 100,000 miles, depending upon the category. Example: Their LTX A/T2 All Terrain tires have a tread life rating of 100,000 miles, whereas their CrossClimate All-Season SUV tires are rated at 40,000 miles of tread life. So your employer does not offer power to other employees who have block heaters? What does everyone else do? Smaller engines require less power to start.

Was there a history code? Often, a dedicated Lexus or Toyota mechanic would be more likely to have experience with such a code and how it relates to your model vehicle.

I'd try to check the cable connector, first, to see if it became unplugged.

The shop should've measured each rotor's "runout" using a dial indicator. Also, I wonder if they checked the ABS module. This type of module will pulse the brakes if certain inputs are detected. For example, while you are rounding a curve in the road and applying the brakes, the module will pulse them. Another type of check would be to swap new rotors onto a different RX350 that is not having the pulsation problem. Of course, if that RX then has a pulsation problem, then the rotors are at fault, but if there is no pulsation, the rotors are not at fault.

Do you mean "center caps"? If your wheels are aluminum, there would most likely be no "hub" caps which traditionally cover the entire wheel. Also make sure your gas cap is not worn or damaged.

The first thing you should have done is to look at all the codes. That would be easier if it has OBD II and not OBD I which flashes to indicate a problem area. Simply guessing and buying parts can be very expensive. You might want to spend $150 to have an expert look at it. That way, you'll have enough information to determine if the car is worth fixing.

The first thing any good mechanic would do is look at the codes. I'm sure there are more than one. Only then can a plan of attack be created to access cost and whether or not your car is worth fixing. You should be able to have an auto parts store employee check your codes.

What are the symptoms that caused you to take your vehicle in for service? I did check Consumer Reports for any red flags regarding brakes and only the 2016 RX350s' brake category was rated average vs much better than average for most other years of this model.

I would simply check it while in the garage, parked on a level street or at work in a parking lot.

Removal of the engine? Sometimes an engine needs to be lifted a bit, but I've never heard of a need to remove an engine to change the seals mentioned. I am suspicious about the crank seal leak. That should not be leaking from a 2013 engine. I would have a different shop inspect the leakage.
