  1. I don't even use the voice nav instructions...
  2. Forums use different softwares, and what you can do on one software you cannot do on another. I don't think there is any way to do what you are asking with this software. Just send us a PM...we'll delete it for you...
  3. Yeah go in and adjust the speeds yourself. Also make sure you don't have it set to avoid any roads or types of roads...
  4. Its a matter of what car they are on. The wire wheels look good on the Jag...but on the Lexus they look out of place IMHO. The Lexus is a modern contemporary car, the Jag is a classic old world looking vehicle. Put wire wheels on a brand new Jag XF that is very contemporary looking and it would look stupid. Just the same as whitewalls look great on a classic Thunderbird or Corvette, but not on a Ferrari.
  5. I guess everybody's marketing is 100% accurate 100% of the time. I mean...I would kind of expect Garmin's interface to be better than Lexus' since all Garmin does is make navigation systems. This is kind of like complaining that the stock audio system is not as good as a custom aftermarket component system. Of course its not. But it plays music well and sounds nice. Its all a function of what you're used to. You are used to the Garmin and thus hate the Lexus system. I am used to the Lexus system and thus hate the Garmin... Go drive say a Mercedes or BMW and compare their OEM nav systems to the Lexus. Lexus and Acura have about the best OEM systems by far.
  6. I don't think its BS...I've never heard of that happening before either...
  7. I think front suspension bushings being worn at 13 years old and 110k miles is pretty possible....
  8. The park assist sensors are located in the bumpers...not behind the Lexus emblem. You're thinking of the radar sensor for cars with radar cruise control.
  9. Not always. I had a bunch from a tree that hurtled nuts down at my car (don't ask...this crap only happens to me) and some they could not get to the back of the panel. So they used a product kinda like the "Ding King" where you apply a glue and pull the ding out from the top of the panel. The results were 100% perfect...just as good as the PDR where they got access to the back of the panel...
  10. Is there a physical dent? Thats usually what people talk about when they talk about a "ding"
  11. Oh yes...don't say anything negative about the Prius over there LOL Its not a luxury car but to many people I think it would classify as "luxurious". It has leather, lots of features...to a lot of people that equals luxurious. For instance the Explorer Limited I had before the Lexus was what I would consider luxurious. The Prius isn't a Yaris for instance... Plenty of people would consider a top line Camry or Avalon luxurious too.
  12. I tried this on my Prius...floor the accelerator and press the brakes...immediately goes to idle. You can illuminate the brake lights by just barely applying the brakes while driving. You have to APPLY the brakes to make the accelerator kick off. For instance you can barely apply the brakes and make the lights come on without canceling the cruise control. I think this guy's a fraud.
  13. The VAST majority of owners trade. I mean...very few executives have the time or interest to market their car privately to make a couple thousand dollars more. Hang around for test drives? Forget it... Plus the GS430 is a very rare car
  14. Do yourself a favor and let Rockville service it all around. They do a great job...it might be a little bit of a trip, but its a much nicer dealership than Lindsay too.
  15. I've had them...they suck. I think they stock them for the older cars when people like the single blade design on the newer cars.
  16. I think it looks...awful...sorry. I mean...terrible...
  17. I agree the Garmin Nav is more feature rich...but personally all of that is outweighed by the fact that the Lexus nav is built in...I don't have to hide it when I park, and I don't have to stick some ugly mount up on my windshield in my new $40,000 car. I don't have to remember to use it...the map is always there. I have a Garmin and I don't even take it out of the house... I've used the Lexus nav for 7 years and have it in two cars...it gets me where I'm going and thats all I really need a nav system for. Its all what you're used to. I actually find the way the Garmin changes the zoom level really obnoxious personally...and the speed limit...I mean...there are signs. It speaks english I can understand...
  18. I think they look awful personally...like wire wheels...JMHO
  19. I mean...I would make sure the mats are secured and learn how to put the car in neutral. If this really is a computer issue its going to effect all the cars...
  20. That won't work...the discs are copy protected... anyways the file would be FAR too big to email...
  21. If he will do it...then thats an incredible deal. Just make sure that the cost of the lease on the LS isn't being wrapped somehow into the 7 series.
  22. I mean...the 07 is a totally different car than the 06...EVERYTHING is different.
  23. Thats a no brainer...I'd buy it. Welcome to the club! I know! I thought the same thing...
  24. Why would it be a joke? Most likely he just forgot the "G"...
  25. Happy Birthday!
