  1. Both companies are owned by Hyundai. ;)
  2. Yup, if you were impressed with the current LS, I'd be patient & wait until the redesign comes out soon. B) I think it will debut at the Detroit auto show in January. B)
  3. Was the fuel filter replaced at that time as well?
  4. What brand(s) of PCV valve do they sell at autozone? How much at Autozone for an 'aftermarket' part vs. the Lexus dealer? Parts like that, I usually go stock personally. B)
  5. The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S is a very good choice, I loved mine, but wow they were expensive! What is the exact tire size you need & price range your looking for? Perhaps there are other choices for you to consider. B)
  6. I think the GS 350 will have more than enough power & still a 6 cyl. ;)
  7. I'd wait until they offer the GS 350 & then compare it to the IS 350. B) Might want to even consider the GS 350 AWD once it is offered. ;)
  8. Apezam, What did you end up doing? Did you buy new winter rubber? Please advise lol. B)
  9. Thats kind of snobbish isn't it? Remember that 25 short years ago people said the same thing about Toyotas, some still say it, and they're well on their way now to being the biggest automaker on earth. You should drive a new one, you really should. You know something else you should drive? A Kia Amante. Mark my words, the Koreans are the next Japanese. ← Well said sw....I agree! The all new Hyundai Azera is not too shabby looking either. B)
  10. Steviej replaced my fogs with Sylvania's back in May when he visited us.....they were just 'plug & play' (although I felt just terrible about the rustproofing.....sorry bud). They have a slight blue tinge to compliment my factory HID's.....they look fantastic! B)
  11. Gumart, did a new thermostat fix your problem?
  12. They don't exist though.
  13. As does mine! B) :whistles: But seriously, not great pics are available that I know of of the next gen ES......but the new Camry isn't bad so I am looking forward to it come January when it will debut at the NAIAS in Detroit. I too hope very much that AWD will be offered.......you can pretty much guarantee a Hybrid for 2008 to boot! B)
  14. How much is the shipping before $75.00?
  15. 2 different generations......I have a 2001 (last year of the smaller body style) & no recalls or problems. Most 2002 owners are a very happy bunch as well......having said that, there is a tranny hesitation issue with pretty much all 5 speed auto's right up to the 2006 model year. There are software upgrades & such however. There is a massive pinned thread of the problem....check it out. B) I would personally buy a CPO Lexus from a dealer than from a private party. ;)
  16. Thanks Army! B) I did not know they were factory. ;)
  17. I like your strut tower brace 91! B)
  18. Do you have ALL service records from the other 2 previous owners too? or just the current owner? How long & how many miles has the current owner put on the car? I say that because of the engine gelling problem the 97 - 01 models have associated with Toyota's 3.0L V6 engine. If unsure, take it to your mechanic for an inspection......if the owner say's no be patient & find another ES. For tires, I would suggest you seriously consider the Goodyear Assurance Triple Treads & get a 4 wheel alignment. B) Good luck & welcome to the club!
  19. Did the Toyota dealer inspect your suspension system?
  20. That CLS is one sleek & sexy looking machine though.......I assume you have driven both? What are your thoughts on both vehicles js? B)
  21. Damn things are expensive too!
  22. Is the car still under full factory warranty?
  23. This thead is turning into one of those oil, filter type of discussions. Where's Monarch? ← lol. :whistles:
  24. That's awesome 98es! One would be very hard pressed to beat that price! B) A good & trustworthy mechanic is worth their weight in gold. :)
