  1. B) The power numbers should be intresting when they are released.
  2. Ask friends & family members as well where they take their vehicles for service. B)
  3. Considering the RX isn't ment to go 'off road' it's not a bad choice sw.......I looked up SUV tires only in the 18" size. Pretty much anything is better than the OE Goodyears. ;)
  4. They still haven't made it right with you yet? Good lord! I agree with sw......get em! :chairshot:
  5. I'm not sure where you heard your info Crys.....these tires just hit the market a short time ago (not 100% they are even available in the U.S. yet) Personaly experence, no.......but I had personaly experence with the Toyo M-410 & the new Open Country H/T (h/t stands for Highway Terrain btw ;) ) & they were just fantastic for long mileage, wet & snowy conditions with a 60,000 miles treadlife......these new H/T's trump the previous on in every category! B) I would pick up the phone & call a few places Canada or the U.S. & try to find out more info. B)
  6. Try getting your rear suspension bushings lubricated...... ← Agreed, it might be something small like Jon suggests. B)
  7. Under $100 a tire VMF! http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...romCompare1=yes
  8. Nothing nicer than a black car...........when it's clean. ;) :D
  9. Neither. Falken Ziex ZE-512 or Toyo Proxes 4 or the Avon Tech M550 A/S hands down your best choices! B) ← as a guy ho has slung a lot of tire's i would say that the way to go is michelan but they are not cheep(hydro ege ) or any piolt tire of thers great wear and grip. if your are looking to get a cheaper tire I just put a set of the brigestone potenza'a on my ES300 and as a guy how hat's brigestone's i am realy happy with them i hav been driving throw the rocky's on vacation ever since i got them and i have no complants good grip and no noise. the best if u got the cash are yokohamas hands down there is a reason that most rally car's run them but at coast the set of yoko AVB i had ran me just under $500 canadain with me doing my own mounting and balanc. toyo's are also a good way to go. the only problem i found with the yoko's was when i hit water is seemd to feel like the car had a drag in the rain and they were nogood in the winter they were a high preformance tire. everyone will have there own opion baste on the driveing style and expince but i bought the brigstone's because that is what BMW's 7 siries are roling off the line with B) ← A tire like the hydroedge mug is not even in the same class that VMF is looking for because of the speed rating & the type of all season tire it is......which it's not a high performance or ultra high performance. ;)
  10. My 3 above suggestions are bang on for wat you are looking for VMF, less expensive than Bridgestones & Pirelli's, will last just as long (if not longer...depending on one's driving style) with better traction in a UHPAS & HPAS. B) You won't find better choices at very reasonable prices that provide that kind of all season traction & long life! ;) I'd have a closer look at them. :)
  11. LOL!! :whistles:
  12. You are caught between a rock & a hard place simply because of the very limited choices you have in the 235 55 18 size. Having said that, you can get the new Toyo Open Country H/T here in Canada now so you might want to consider ordering a set in your size & have them delivered down to you. http://www.toyocanada.com/products/OpenCountryHTEN.html (click on the right side that says get data icon to see tire sizes) & contact Toyo Canada directly to find a dealer that will ship them to you or drive up here to have them installed. :whistles: Here is their contact link: http://www.toyocanada.com/contactus/contact_Gen.html Or you can try www.toyo.com & ask them when the Open Country H/T will be available. Other than that, these are your only other choices: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compare1.jsp...at=All&x=4&y=15 Let us know what you have decided, but out of the 3 total choices, I'd personally go with the Toyo myself. B) I hope this helps & Good Luck!
  13. Bringing a car from the U.S. to Canada (or vice versa) is a huge pain in the butt.....I can only imagine what the hassel's are from over the pond.
  14. What did the repair of the vent line run you? B)
  15. Lexusfreak, you don't have PIAAs. The bulbs we put in are Sylvania Silverstars. The case I brought them each up to Toronto in where from my PIAA ion crystals. steviej ← I stand corrected steviej. B)
  16. Neither. Falken Ziex ZE-512 or Toyo Proxes 4 or the Avon Tech M550 A/S hands down your best choices! B)
  17. Agreed! Enjoy both! B)
  18. Many folks in the auto industry also refer to it as a power slider as well. :whistles:
  19. lol Craig, read that first thing this morning myself as well. B)
  20. Just got new Fog's installed (many thanks to Steviej for the install).....looks awesome! (PIAA's) B) I don't like the eye lid mod personally so I'm going to pass on that. B)
  21. Best of Luck silver! :D Enjoy your new ride......post pics of her if you can. B)
  22. Yank the steering wheel hard to the left with one hand at the same time twist the key to come out with the other......Fords & Chryslers usually suffer this problem
  23. Not me personally......anyone else?
  24. Welcome to the club! B) Do a search with regards to the 97-98 ES. But what chris said, it s VERY important to make sure you have all service records (not just oil changes) for the car & know that it is up to date because of the engine gelling problem. Let us know when you get your new ride. ;)
