Thank you for your responses I am going to Autozone today to get the stuff. I just got this 2001 rx300 last week. It has 27,000 miles on it. It honestly doesn't have even one paint chip or even one scratch on it!!! (well before i got to it). I agree with you, these scratches are very minor and are reversible. I scratched the paint rubbing the towels on them. I just didn't know HOW to remove them. There must have been dirt that acted as sandpaper. There are just tiny, I mean VERY TINY scratches only in the clearcoat. Not very deep at all. They are very visible in the sun though. The whole hood and tailgate are covered in them. Also there were some weird swirl scratches on the side panels. I'm guessing this was caused by the dealer waxing it. There must have been dirt on the car. I will just use the products you all reccomended and get them out. Thank you!!

Today when i was washing my rx300 i decided that i wouldn't use soap since i just got it a week ago, and it already had a good layer of wax on it. I just wrinsed it with tap water, and dried it with towels. After it dried i noticed pretty much the whole car was covered in minor, very minor scratches all over the clearcoat. The color is dark green. how can i get rid of these scratches all over?? I tried re-waxing it but it looks just sa bad. Please help!!

ESPECIALLY change the oil a lot if your driving is all city. This is the biggest mistake people who don't drive often experience. Usually, when driving on the highway the engine gets really hot, and the water with the oil evaporates. when you dont drive as often, the engine doesnt get as hot, and that water cant evaporate. This is why you should change it often. The oil is the most important part of an engine in my opinion. I change the oil in my cars every 3,000 miles!!! I know it's overkill but i feel better afterwards. Its just me

For a while i been looking to get a GS430 and have been looking at pictures. Some pictures of the dashboards where the speedo are look green, and others seem to look white. What color is it on the Gs430? Duz ne1 know why the pics make it look a different color? Is it the the way they light up Thanks ppl

Is this on all rx300s because my dorrs and alarm dont go on when i leave the keys inside. As lexkid630 said if your driving with the doors unlocked and turn the car off and leave the keys inside and close the door the doors DONT lock and the alarm does NOT set. Maybe this is just on my car Idk. So what is this anti-lockOut feature then? This sounds just like it Im not sure

Many times i have heard people mention about an Anti-LockOut Feature on their cars. What is it? Does this mean that your car doors wont shut if the keys are still inside the car? I'm asking this b/c i never lock my car. I just leave the key on the center console and the alarm doesn't go off and the doors don't lock when i try to re-enter. So is this just a fancy way to put it? Thanks

This morning when I was drivin' to work I noticed that something in the rear of my 2000 rx300 was making a noise everytime I went over a bump or somethin'. sort of like a screetching-scraping noise. Its only there when I go over a bump or sumthin'. struts or something? IDK but its agrivating. To get to where I work i have to go over 4 speed bumps... therefore 4 on the way back. I don't go fast over them, i just don't slow down... :chairshot: could this be the reason for the screetching noises? Thanks guys :(

Does anyone else think that the turning radius on the rx300 is too big? I sometimes find myself turning it all the way till it stops just to make a left turn. I can't park well either. Just wanted to know if it was just me

Do you mean that you can have the "map" on CONSTANTLY while driving, even if you don't put in an address? So when you turn the car on, the map is already up?

Hi everyone, is it possible to run the navigation and the radio at the same time on the rx300's ? how about the climate/AC controls? how do you know what the temperature is if the navigation screen is up? even the radio stations? Thanks to anyone who can help. I am not sure if i want the navigation if i can't listen to the radio on long trips as well. you know wat i mean?

lexkid630 u live in ri right? Thats only a few minuts from me. Would you be interesed in seling your 2003 gs430 to me? I could give you a good price I dont care about the milege or the scratches if it is working I would like it. I only driv a few minuts a day the 2003 is the best year i like it. I have not been abl to find a blue GS$#) and you are the only guy I kno that Has one selling. Is it posible to sell it to me? Are the rimss bad can I put 22' on them just wondering I really like the gs430. I hav a rx300 to and I need a Gs430. Sincerely, Mark G.

Hi everyone: I noticed that on the steering wheel of my 02 rx, the LAST stitch on the leather piece before the top wood piece (both left and right side) is a different (lighter) color than the rest. I just purchased it from a dealer a few months back. Did they fix this stitch implying that it was ripped? or is this true for all rx300's? Thank you for any input, it is much appreciated.
