  4. I would say if you have the money, then go for the 1995 like VMF said. Also in 1995 six-disc CD changer is dash-mounted. To elaborate on what VMF stated you can view the specs, demensions, and fuel economy from right here: 1990 LS 1995 LS
  5. Sounds preaty good. Keep us posted about how things turn out after you get it checked by your mechanic. Take the VIN # of the car and take it to your local Lexus dealer and they can pull up all the maintance record of the car done by the Lexus dealers anywhere in the country. You can call them first; you can find your local Lexus dealer from here: www.lexus.com You can look at the specs and features from here: http://www.edmunds.com/used/1993/lexus/sc400/ Be sure to take pictures if you can.
  6. Thanks guys. I thought no one knew the answer to this one. So, I had it moved to the Audio/electronic section from LS400/430, thanks to Steve(admis.) I will let you guys know how everything turns out. My university is going to be 2-hours away from my house. So, I'm going to be on the highway a lot more and on the road on weekends. I just hope it doesn't cost my parents big $$ to get this up and running. Thanks again for replying guys. B)
  7. When was this? Was it before Lexus was born?
  8. I recently cleared one of my friends GS's yellowed headlights with Meguiar's cleaner, then show car glaze polish, then waxed it. What a difference!!!!!
  9. Well on the dark spot where the line used to be; you just cut out a piece from the tach and copy it and paste it on the dark spot. As for the "O" same thing, cut out a Zero from on of the "O's" on the tach copy it and paste it on. I just got lazy and didn't do that.
  10. I used the Version 7.0 in the Second Picture. Sorry for the confusion guys. I photoshoped the second picture and took the needles from the first picture and rotated them and covered the old ones with a piece of the background.
  11. I'm 17 too. B) First car: '92 Acura Legend LS (for sale)
  12. Now he is at a stoplight with no gas and needs to 'Cooooool' down.
  13. They look nice, I realy like the front "L" the most.
  14. I'm realy sorry Blake for your Rosey's loss. We have birds and you are right, animals have there own personalities and identities like humans.
  15. What are you trying to search? If it can't find it, it will have an error; instead of saying 'no results found.'
  16. No, what he means is that 47miles were added to his Full tank miles. So, he went from 360 miles per full tank to 400 miles per full tank not 47mpg. ;)
  17. I have a silver Taupe also, we'll love to see pics. Do this: 1. Load the pictures from your computer to the gallery. 2. After the pictures are in the gallery, right click on it and from the option bar pick "Properties" and copy the URL address. 3. Come back here and do a "New Reply" with all the options and up to click on 'IMG' and paste the URL address from step #2 in there and just click on submit and your done.
  18. Thanks guys. Flooded cars are off my list forever now. ;)
  19. My father purchased a Toyota Corolla about 7 years ago which had a salvage title and was damaged from the front. The car never had any major problems, except for the paint, when we bought it the paint was shiny but after a year or two the hood, roof, and the trunk's paint is faded and dull. But, we bought the car cheap. Samething happened with my friend's Acura. Salvage title and wrecked from the front. No problems except for the dullness of the paint plus, he bought it for a price that a car with a clear title would cost. There are a lot of dealers here who sell salvage titled cars and fix them up too. And they are doing great because there prices are a little less than half of what a clear titled car would cost. Overall, salvage titled cars have there own advantages and disadvantages. Like everything else in the world. :)
  20. We bought a Toyota Camry from a big name dealer and he received the same statement from them about the 25% damage, in 2000. It was yellow. We bought another car from small dealer and didn't recieve it, in 2002, then from a private party and the didn't recieve it, in 2004. All of this took place in North Carolina. I would have to go with everyones suggestion about seeing a lawyer. I am really sorry about this whole situation. Keep us posted.
  21. I'm 99.9% sure the car I'm talking about a 4dr. customized convertible was convertible rather than just having a canvas top, it was a long time ago. I can see a Gen. I, II, III LS with a canvas top but a ES Thats why I love it so much. I just mentioned it because I thought maybe someone just went retro and tried to make it look customized......!
  22. Do you think it was a SC430? I have seen a 4dr. customized Luxury car turned into a convertiable on ebay though.
  23. Book values have a lot do to with pricing, but also how many more of the same cars are for sale in your area matters too, I believe. I browsed around autotrader and cars.com and have seen Lexus figures a lot lower than what we have in my area. We don't get many Lexi for sale around here compared to all the other brands, so maybe thats something to consider too, which will be the reginal pricing thing... Tundra-Lover: One more thing, do you have pictures of the car on the net anywhere, those will help a lot too.
