  1. No cabin air filter on the 1991 LS400. These didn't appear until 1993.
  2. New price is $8,500 FIRM...how exactly does one upload to the gallery...I was able to add one pic to "my garage", but the forum won't allow me to attach the picture as described above
  3. Anyone have a current unlimited carfax that would be willing to run a VIN for me? Charles
  4. That price I can deal with! Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for that auction. Charles
  5. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer LS400! The interior is immaculate! The leather is still supple, no wear on the steering wheel or shift knob. The car has only 98K miles. It is silver taupe with a taupe interior. All options except air suspension, cell phone and Nakamichi. Has an aftermarket Pioneer Premier 12 disc CD changer mounted in the trunk. Really hate to sell, but my wife wants another SUV Asking $10,000, the car is really that nice! Have pics, but don't know how to post them Charles
  6. I see you have another complete set up for sale on the auction site, but $600 is still a little too pricey for me :( I guess I will have to wait.
  7. Thanks again for the reply! I have not reached the mandatory 20 posts yet to send you a PM, but please PM me with a price for a CD changer and your custom cable. Thanks! Charles
  8. Thanks for the quick reply! Actually, the car has the head unit with 2 FM buttons and no CD button. I was thinking about buying the Nakamichi setup you were selling on eBay, but was more than I want to spend :whistles: . Do you have another set to sell or mabye a Pioneer CD setup? Charles
  9. Hi folks; I have a '93 LS400 with the Pioneer stereo system without CD-changer. It does however have an aftermarket Pioneer Premier 12 disc CD changer installed that uses a FM modulator to play the music. My question is, in the CD changer owners manual it states that the changer can be connected to a CD controller head unit with a IP bus cable to bypass the need for the FM radio. So, I am wondering if I bought a Lexus head unit with the changer controls if I could connect it to the changer and operate it via the IP bus cable. Pionnersuby, this is probably something you can answer! B) Thanks, Charles
  10. You have to shop around in your area to see who sells the R-12 cheapest. Here in the Seattle area, I had my Supra recharged yesterday in Kent...the cheapest I found was $70.00 per pound and my car took 1.6 lbs. I suspect the Lexus holds a larger charge. My LS is a 1993 model and uses R-134a, so I don't know what the R-12 capacity is for a 1990-1992 model.
  11. I honestly don't have a clue, but I think the ES and Camry are the siblings, not the LS.
  12. Other than the dealer, I would say that a junkyard is your best bet. You may get lucky and find one in your color. Try www.car-part.com Charles
