  1. I haven't looked at the fluid level myself, but I was informed by my brother. <_< But, I will check it myself when he comes by sometime today. Now, THAT price seems reasonable. It has 154,000 miles as of now.
  2. WOW, $1300 or close to it...........is not good. I'll keep you guys inform when I get to a mechanic. Is it bad to drive like this, with a bad pump? It'll be 2 weeks from now before we can get someone, it will be driven about 120 miles (90 hwy) before any help. Oh the fluid is full. So, its the pump.
  3. Damn.........not what I wanted to hear before going to bed. But Thank you very much for the heads up Brian, and Blake, I'm going to tell my brother to check the fluid it tommorow before driving. btw: how much is it going to cost to replace it, part&service by a local mechanic? Just and estimate.
  4. I looked at it last night, so couldn't make out how much was in there, or where it was located for that matter.
  5. My brother and I are at school right now and can't get to a mechanic at this time of the semester. I drove the car to test and see what my brother was talking about. The car makes a hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm noise when you turn the steering wheel, both when standing still and when turning into a street or parking spot. There is also vibration with the noise, but mostly noise. Any hints to what the problem might be..........or is the description to vague to conclude anything?
  6. Didn't you buy a Civic in the past, a black one?
  7. The LS430 commercial where they turn over the car to show how aerodynamic it really is even from the bottom.
  8. ROFL..MAO................:chairshot: :chairshot:
  9. Well, from the misfortunate, I hope you don't invest so much in a car that is not worth the book value again. Do you like SUVs? LX, Land Cruiser............. :whistles:
  10. I have been keeping up with your posts Army. I feel so bad just hearing this man. :( You didn't mention how you were doing? Can you take some pictures as well?
  11. What finish are you getting? 20's on an ES are too big? HECK YA, IMHO. I agree, when I first looked at them, I was thinking about if they would look better on SUVs.
  12. What color is your car? Black would look good with the black ones. But, they look nice. I like them.
  13. 1. If you have an ethernet port on both of the computers, you can network the two by using an ethernet cable and transfer the data from one to the other. But I doubt it that you have an ethernet card on your old computer. Ethernet port looks like a phone jack except a little bigger. 2. Installing the external hard drive!? Your simply going to hook it up to the USB port and probably just install the driver that comes with it (a cd). Then you can just copy and past or drag and drop the items into the new drive (that'll be shown in 'my computer'). Usually there are great deals on internal hard drives and kits that make them externalLike this one for example, mostly because of rebates the package becomes cheaper than external ones. So, you after you are finished you can just install the internal drive into the new computer and have two hard drives and when needed, just take it out and put it into the enclosure. Or you can just buy the enclosure and put the hard drive from your old computer into it and hooked it up (USB) to the new computer and transfer all the data that you want from it into the new computer. 3. Just buy this and transfer data couple of times. Pictures are usually 3MB or less, so lets say if they are 3MB each, 256 MB stick will hold 85, and you just transfer those 85 over and delete them from the stick and transfer another 85 over again.
  14. Thanks everyone. I trust you guys judgment and will stick with that. I was looking into another Audi, 1999 A6, but I think I'm just going to leave it at that and look at some others for now. I love LOC.
  15. I don’t know anyone who owns an Audi. So, are they reliable cars, maybe comparing it to a Nissan in general?
  16. Well, I am looking for a good solid vehicle for school next year. This will be my third car, still got the last two just not under my belt anymore. This is the second Audi I have encountered in the paper, though I have not seen them in person. This one is 1999 A4 $8k with only 73k miles V6 2.8L Quattro 5-speed, not too sure about the manual transmission though. I’m going to be posting car listings which I seriously consider until I purchase one. So, feel free to suggest or comment on anything relating to the topic. 17. I did not expect the topic to go up to 6 pages!!! lol As the starter of the topic I thought I should let you guys know my side as well. My provider is Cingular and I have a LG L1400. Last month, when I went home, whenever I would turn on the camera, the internal screen would have this pink colored bar on the top. So, I took it to the Cingular store and they messed around with the settings like I haven’t tried it! After 15 minutes of messing around with the setting they just gave me a new phone!
  18. I have been busy with school lately. Its been a while since I chopped something, and the car really does look better without the lights. Hey, Blake did you get my PM?......................Everytime I send a PM, it never goes into my sent box!
  19. Actually on ebay......it seems like they only have GS!
  20. Took 5 years off and the Accord.
  21. I fit my 93' perfectly especially with the tilt wheel, it feels like it was built just for me. :P As for the seats being comfortable and soft, they are 'not.' They are hard, and my leather is soft also. The leater seats in my 92' Legend are much softer and more comfortable. But, I can never position the seats in the Legend to where I feel comfortable. So, my only complaint is that the seats in the Gen. I are not soft.
