  1. I would hope you would maybe want to support our vendors on this site and buy from our Amsoil dealer right here. John seems like a great guy, and he has a very nice website set up. Just go to our home page and click on forums, he has the big Amsoil banner you can just click on that.
  2. I got mine from Sewell Lexus, and they cost $206.00 plus shipping. Here's the link: Sewell Lexus.com
  3. Nice avatar. Might wanna look out for the monkey pointing consortium uprise thing. lol!!
  4. Sorry I haven't been around much lately. Nice job on the car repair! I'm glad this all turned out great! The car actually looks better now then before! That doesn't happen very often. LOL!!!! The Canon xsi is a great camera! That's the camera I used last time. It belongs to a friend of mine who let me use it, and now I want one for myself!!
  5. Yes, it is. You'll see the plugs wrapped in the wiring along the carpet line when you remove the sills.
  6. Hotty chics usually do. But I think it's more because they aren't viewed as a real threat, and the last few challenges have been between enemies. Corvette and Avalanche now hate each other. And if Corvette keeps winning, then Avalanche keeps going in the challenges. LOL!! Now if only Avalanche could win a leg, so Corvette would be in the next challenge and Lexus would have another free week. I would lauph my *** off if those girls turned out to be semi pro race car drivers or stunt car pros or something. That would be awsome! I would love to see the Lexus girls whoop that Avalanche butt!! LOL!!
  7. I laughed at AFS equiped BMW's a long time ago. But whatever, it's gadgety enouph to impress all the friends that don't know any better how cool your car is. :)
  8. I see this on alot of forums, especially forums that focus on cars with HID set ups. I think because the light tends to be whiter, so it seems brighter to on coming traffic, and so I think some regulator came along and set it up to aim HID's a degree or two lower. But as Bartkat said, it's easy enouph to go adjust them.
  9. Then just go here: Parting out 06 IS He said he'd sell the seats for $400.00 bucks each, complete. :)
  10. Exactly right. They sell them like seat covers. They just peel the old one off and slip the new one on. I've seen them for sale before on a JDM website, but that was a long time ago and I don't remember the which website I saw it on, I remember because it referred to the piping color choices for seats, and I was surprised that there was a choice! so the dealer got new seat skins and they just replaced them for a customer.
  11. I had this happen to me once, almost. I was driving a Volkswagen Jetta, stopped at a traffic light behind a box truck. I started to reach into my pocket to retrieve my phone when the car started to rev and lurch forward. As I pushed on the brake harder the revs went up also, and in that second, I looked at the back of that truck and thought this is gonna suck!, and then I realized I had my foot caught on the brake and the gas pedal at the same time, so I reached over and slipped it into neutral, the car stopped and just revved, and then repositioned my foot correctly, slid it back into drive and everything has been fine. But, that was driver error, and not the cars fault at all. I should have know better than that!
  12. That was the last year of that body if I remember right, Adrian van Hooydonk designed it with Chris Bangle. Very nice pick. That I think was the best looking SUV! Then of course Bangle changed the direction and wanted to make the X5 bigger and so went to that terrible, or should I say "transitional" years. I like the new M3 and 3 series also now, but the 06 BMW model year was sick. Loved that year!
  13. I see Randy&Bonnie went back and erased all his posts? It appears my experience isn't acceptable, and my "club reporter style" contributions are meaningless. I've deleted practically every one of the 744 posts I made to reduce as much of my carbon footprint as possible…. Global warming is everywhere. The childish condescending threats when a member's comments don't agree with the management or moderator's thinking are ridiculous and nauseating. The grade school censorship is stifling. So I think I'll take my marbles and play with kids that are a tad more mature …. Besides, my wife said I've been bad and I need a time out. You guys can enjoy yourselves without this old man's worthless opinions. RANDY Just cause your old, it seems, doesn't mean your mature. Bye......
  14. Well, that doesn't sound all that bad then. Just a new control arm and ball joint in the front? And that front bumper needs to be replaced too right? You'll never know it ever happened. :)
  15. I use this stuff called Air Wash, it comes in a blue can, and I like it. It's the first can of "scented" anything that I have found that I actually liked. It smells new car enouph for me. Have you tried that one? :)
  16. Vaitech Ipod interface kit ( With this one though, you will lose the ability to add XFM or Sirrus, because it uses that input for the ipod. Whereas the Vaitech still allows for sat. radio.)

    I'm Back!

Hey NC, nice job on the GS. It looks great. Very clean inside and out. You'll definately get your money's worth out of that! Now.......you just have to lower it a little, new rims, tint,,,,,LOL!!! J/K! I actually like the rims that are on yours with that color. They look very classy.
  18. Don't forget to include a picture of your dog dressed up as Penelope Pitstop sitting behind the wheel of your ever so race ready KTM X-bow roadster! Dude, your in!!! Garrenteed!
  19. The Camaro was a nice car too. But he wouldn't have won anyway. I can't beleive none of them have shown me they can drive yet.
