  1. Some new lights like laxdude said, sylvannia silverstars if you want cheap, piaas' if you want more white, and HID's if you have the money. Changing your turn signals to clear (im currently doing this project) re-ground your battery detail your car maintance Clean your headlights if they are foggy upgrade your interior lights (key ring, a/t lights, cluster, a/c control, everything)
  2. Yah i got this in the mail to, i might. the only problem is they dont let you drive hard
  3. Im always at Sewell lexus. I know abunch of people up there glad to hear about all the good stuff
  4. i will post a pic sunday hopefully if i can find the stupid camera
  5. howdy, i dont know where to begin really. Lexus=toyota toyta=reliable lexus=reliable The sc300 and 400 will last along long long time. the 400 will go longer without major maintenace like replacing the water pump, valve gaskets. If the car has had its 60k 90k or what ever service done it should run fine. Many 300s and 400s will go way over 200k miles and maintain like a newer car. The only problems with the SC that i can think of are minor, the cd changer will go out, also the lower control arms MIGHT be bad, but that easy to tell. and thats all i can think of that is not on the usual check ups :D
  6. Lets see, i suggest you get tokico illumina shock/spring set. its adjustable. instead of +Gforce tires i HIGHLY suggest falken tires... HIGHLY sylvania or PIAA, if money is tight sylvania is the best as an add on to your list... Air filter upgrade if not done so, Dual Flex-a-lite fans if you want. change your interior lighting through www.lextech.org. you can also change all the other lights inside your car using leds. OH yah and since you have a sc400 get true dual exhaust with some nice mufflers and headers. but thats for when you have the money
  7. nothing nothing and more of nothing, that you can buy from somewhere of course. You can however get custom exhaust done at a shop, open up the airfilter for cheap upgrades. or spend alot of money and get a custom twin turbo put on, its been done before and i believe the 430 put down 700hp.
  8. ive got clear streetwires, it dosent stick out :D
  9. a ground kit is not necessary untill the car gets older. It would be worthless to put a ground kit on a brand new car, it has no need for it. it would not be worth the manufactures time to put a ground kit in. And its not a sure thing to get hp or mpg, it just helps your electrical system.
  10. daizens will every so lightly squeak because they are polyurethane, but this dosent mean they are bad. You can save money buy buying the bushings alone, or you can get supra lca's.
  11. this is a must upgrade for older cars. not just for the fact that you might gain some hp, but the start up is alot smoother.
  12. any supra lca will fit any SC. However i am not so sure about the rear when it comes to the sc400, i could only assume so because the suspension is the same except the SC has taller springs and more comfy shocks. I matched my lca with the same year, 95 supra with 95 sc.
  13. rev up to 2500-3k and let off the brake. But the best thing to do is buy a torque converter and a supra lsd for massive launch
  14. there are no harness adapters for the SC. sorry.
  15. put ur headlights in the oven ( i dont remember the temp but its only for about 4 or 5 minutes). Clean em, reseal them, let them sit out over night.
  16. go ahead and change your tranny and engine mounts if it has not been done yet. Flush all your fluids and replace them (coolant, tranny, rear diff, oil). If your front end squeaks replace your lower control arms. and everything else BMAN1113 said. i suggest you take it to another place other than a dealership, it wont cost as much.
  17. since i cant see the pic, and the pic name is what im running with, the only convertable SC i know is auto-couture. if its a white drop top sc with a hood scoop its an auto-couture kit
  18. i suggest tokico illuminas if your tight on cash. but if you have around $1500 for a suspension set up you need Tien flex
  19. Royal Purple 5w30 with a K&N oil filter. I will soon go to 0w30. Royal purple rocks the house, but you will pay alot of $$$ for its greatness
  20. I have seen people buy the bushings by them selves. but i have no idea how the hell they got them. I just got Supra LCAs. Much cheaper and better imo.
  21. dont quote me but im 90% positive you have to crack open the housing to get to it. then again i have not done this mod. i took the easy way out :D
  22. 1: Yes, i would suggest you do both at the same time though, saves ALOT of time and trouble. I went ahead and put tokico blues on mine without doing a spring upgrade, but now i regret not doing both at the same time and im not looking forward to ripping it all out again. 2. stiffer, be more weary of bumps and high waters. 3. they cut their springs and usually do not change out the shocks. leaves for a terrible terrible ride.
