  1. i removed mine without breaking them. goo-gone spray and dental floss get all the adhesive off. took 1hr though :D
  2. i had gold badges and exhaust tips. i took mine off with dental floss and a credit card, then took goo-gone to the adhesive. bought some chrome emblems for $120. took a dremel and cleaned the gold off my exhaust tips then polished it down.
  3. auto-coture (sp?) body kit. custom fab drop top. the problem with that is when you do that you have to reinforce the doors. otherwise your car wont be stable and you could do some serious damage. your looking into 10-20k done on thoes cars with drop top and body kit alone
  4. sorry, let me correct my self. I had it custom made. Earmark car audio in Dallas did it for me. The cd holder is called a Cbox that come stock in porsches. but i plan to fiberglass or bondo for my next project
  5. Audi Carputer the Audi carputer is so far the best i have EVER seen installed. im sure there are good ones floating around that i havent found though. no i did not make my own plastic piece, but for the carputer i will. xenarc makes a 7" touchscreen that should be able to fit. i know there are a few more brands out there but i will need to do a little more research
  6. the BL a/t upgrade would have helped in making that car faster. and some lightning mods. im sure theres a ton more to make it run sub 10's street legal
  7. the sc has a 2.5 din space. i dont have an lcd screen installed so i dont know how i could be of help. but i do know there are a few flush mount lcd screens on SCs. i to am currently looking into building a carputer. just need to find the right programs.
  8. daizens are known to still squeak, but they last for ever. i got the supra TT lca and they work wonders! no noise either
  9. nice... does the 04 come with the run flat tires? or did they finally stop doing that?
  10. yah.. so why is it badged as a 400 with a 3.0 i6? holy hell that thar is a local, garland is only 2 seconds away from me. ima hunt that car down.. then throw up
  11. there are sc430s out there with a TT set up, i dont know but lextreme might be of some help, that site is all about the v8
  12. put it on, take pics, drive around, if they charge, take it off and send it back. :D
  13. how much are you willing to spend? i personally would go alpine, if you had extra money i would get that new flush mount kenwood flat screen. that looks so damn sexy.
  14. check to see if the bulbs are burn out, lift your car, take off the two under panels in front of your front tires. unscrew the fog light screwy thing ( dont know the word for it :D ) unhook the metal clip thats holding in the light, pull the light out and check. also check the connection from the wire comming out of the light bulb.
  15. i just installed PIAA xtreme white plus bulbs. i replaced my low beams, and my fogs, and disconnected my parking lights. due to the projection lens on your low beams it will not make your headlight housing look blue, but it will make the projection lens look nice and white. however the fogs have an awsome white shade with a very small hint of a light blue. now if you want a real ricy blue get the piaa plasmas.
  16. you should retro fit the s2k's hids onto the sc300, put in some 10k lights.... thats mmmh mmmh goood
  17. Lextech has what your looking for, the guys name is brian
  18. its a toyota thing i think, i have never heard any other car cool down as loud as a toyota
  19. i dont know the part number, jpi did the work.
  20. lower control arms from a supra fit the Sc. my lca are supras. they have larger bushings than the stock sc's so its better, and cheaper
  21. it has happened to me 3 different times. but it wasnt a one ohm difference. it was 4 on one account, and 2 on the others. the first time i had a blaupunkt amp with 2 10" jlw0. the blaupunkt heated up within about 20-30 minutes and then shut off. after it did that twice it completly burned out. the other 2 times when the stuff started to over heat i just scrapped the systems. the blau was 4ohm the subs were 8ohm.
  22. if you run the 1ohm amp to a 2ohm sub you will most likely burn the amp up and not be able to play it at all. a new sub will hit lower (around 5-7hz) with out distortion, that is unless it has a foam lip.
  23. buy a turbo. get some serious boost. and just floor it
