  1. I have tokico blues and they are simply awsome. However i wish i saved up a few more bills and gotten the tokico illuminas. The illuminas are shock/spring combo with 3 way adjustable shocks
  2. 2 old rich white guys who graduated from yale. bush is a terrible public speaker who does not follow through with alot of of his political promises, Kerry comes out and tells you he doesnt know what hes doing. but im voting for kerry anyway just because i dont like bush.. the president
  3. front and back are 4", the sub is 10"
  4. cabin filters are 97 or 98+ models. but there is a slot for them in all years. if some one can just find the dimensions of the stock filter it can be fabricated, i plan on doing that from home air filters at lowes, but i cant find the dimensions of the oem cabin filter
  5. Hey, What was the total cost? parts and labor? Thanks. i dont remember because i had JPI in garland Tx do it, but ontop of the lcas i had oil leaks fixed and tranny and motor mounts replaced. i know it was cheaper than oem lcas by far though. just call up your local toyota dealership and ask for 95 supra lcas
  6. i put Supra LCAs on my sc300 a few months back. its cheaper than lexus oem lcas.
  7. dont use autozone crap.. the cluster bulbs are #194 wedge bulbs, you can get leds to change the color, and leds use way less power, but are not as bright, you can get multiple led wedges. i am currently changing out all of my lights in my SC. the only leds you will need are #194 and #74. but the dome lighting is completely different so im still searching on what kind of bulbs thoes are. http://autolumination.com/ has LEDs that will fit
  8. i dont believe so, i swore i ordered 55's but 50 is what i got. so maybe not
  9. like a charm, only problem is instead of getting 55s i got 50s so its a lower profile tire and leaves a bigger wheel gap, but not a problem because i will soon get some lowering springs. but i looooooove these tires
  10. if money is not a problem.. Clear corners... makes awsome lighting upgrade leatherseats... has damn good leather replacement auto coture body kit HRE 19" rims Tein suspension true dual exhaust
  11. dosent matter aslong as it MKIV supra it will fit right on your SC. same suspension. i dont remember what i paid for mine but it was a few hundred cheaper then lexus oem.
  12. go to a toyota dealership and get the supra tt control arms. youll save alot of money
  13. this thread inspired me so much i went and bought some falken ziex tires today :) i get them put on tomorrow! :D
  14. Falkens are awsome! i want to get some. i have a friend who autox's his s2000 and swears by them
  15. where does it say it has a 2jzge in it? all i see is the statement " The car runs very strong. Great as is or perfect for a complete supra swap" i dunno
  16. no insurance difference depending on company, mine did not quote a difference because its considered a luxury sedan and not a sports car
  17. hmmm. correction. thats a 2zgte engine in there. i would have to see it before i buy it. if he still has stock turbos (which i highly doubt) its probably ready to die any day. interesting sell, 250k on a supra engine, bomex kit, custom out the !Removed!, 10k. i dont know what to say about this one
  18. no i bought a lemon but thats ok because my compression ratio is awsome. i drove it hard once i got it but now i drive it calm. i get about 23-24mpg. the sc300 and sc400 are the same other than engines. the stock mpg is about the same aswell. sc400 only came in auto, while 97 and earlier sc300s had a 5speed option. other than that they are the same.
  19. check for oil leaks, burning oil, and go get a compression test. if all is good then buy it :D
  20. that is the stupidest thing i have EVER heard. you just judged ALL SC owners as crazy drivers who are to poor to fix there car up. you obviously have never really looked into the SC series. :chairshot:
  21. the 2jzge is a very strong engine. ANY engine can last along time as long as it was taken care of. the 2jzge can take more wear and tear than alot of engines out there and still be drivable. theres no given time a engine can "die". just have the compression ratio checked.
  22. what are you plans? i suggest you get a sc400 because the engine lasts longer and is more powerful stock. my 95 sc is just now rolling up to 80k and i have ahd a few problems already tranny mount replace motor mount replace lower control arm replace o-ring replace something else was leaking oil my valve stem gaskets are worn so now im burning oil my shocks at shot trunk lid shocks are shot for a grand total of... i dont even want to think about it :cries: BUT all of that is wear and tear. make sure the car has had its 90k service done to it and you wont have these problems. on 2jzge engines its common for the valve stem gaskets to go out around 60k. on the 1uzfe it goes out 150k. the v8 lasts much longer and i have never heard of serious problems with them. i plan on selling mine soon for a 98 sc400
  23. adhesive comes on the new emblems. you just have to peel off the film then stick it on.
