  1. yah but you have the nice wood dash kit and the e-brake to match, just to get that shifter with no wood dash kit wouldnt be good looking, that and your stereo and steering wheel accent the chrome on the shifter, it just flows in your car. I just wish they made a shorter version of it.
  2. still looks like a !Removed! shifter, except with some chrome and some wood
  3. Jack your car up, take the front wheels off, take out the plastic wells, you will see the backs of the fog lights, remove them through there, dont yank them out because there is a small paper clip like holder that keeps the bulb in, disconnect the wire and plug in the new ones are you talking about my car? I have recently gotten a new front bumper without a place for the plate so i have no holes. 9006 for low beams, H3 for fog lights, 198 wedge for corner lamps, i dont know the blinker or parking lights, i suggest you unplug the parking lights because they are a pain in the !Removed! to deal with. You can buy chrome plated turn signals with an orange base that way it still gives off an orange color but you cant see it when looking into the head lamp. it will just look chrome
  4. Silverstars are good, i have PIAA hyper whites in mine. also replace your fog lights so they match, it looks so much better than stock lighting.
  5. denso iridium. it provides a better spark. not that your going to notice it or anything.
  6. u mean silverstar? they are a great alternative to PIAA hyperwhites if you dont want to spend the extra money. They are pure white with a little hint of blue. i like the way silverstars look. I say get them, they make a HUGE difference on the SC. make sure you get the low beams and fog lights.
  7. i dont believe so. they calipers are the same size as the Supra TT upgrade. http://www.intellexual.net/faq.html#029 Theres a list of brake upgrades and sizes, im pretty sure you will have to upgrade your wheels inorder for them to fit. I dont think they will fit the 16" wheels. sorry
  8. Its not hard, infact a fellow member of this forum owns lextech. LLS on this forum does all the work. nothing but A+ quality from him. Theres a tutorial somewhere on how to take out your cluster and A/C unit. its not hard at all. if i find it i will post it
  9. Brembo if you have the $$$. or you can do an LS400 brake upgrade. It might cost you in the range of 400-500. MUCH better braking.
  10. ooh yah, i always forget about cali as a state :snoooorrrtttt: n/m there are thousands
  11. ehhh i wouldnt say thousands. i would say more like a few hundred. however there are plenty pushing over 600hp, but there are also alot who keep it stock after the swap. I have seen more turbo supras then i have seen turbo SCs.
  12. i have a 12" boston acoustic pro series sub in an inclosed box laying in my trunk. i took out the stock sub from under the brake light. Ive got the sub running at around 500watts so its nothing to amazing. I also sound deadened the trunk, including the gas tank. There are no rattles which is nice, but its hard to get alot of air flow to come out of that 10" hole under the brake light. the sound deadner made a HUGE difference though in that small area. I plan on getting a spoiler with a break light, taking out the light in the car, and cutting out a larger hole and some how covering it up. but that wont be for a while. I suggest 2 12's if you dont mind not having a trunk.
  13. c/f is the only hood that would server a purpose and actually be worth it. i have seen a hood with a scoop before but it looked fugly imo.
  14. congrats on the new buy. enjoy it while it lasts. (forever :D )
  15. http://www.lextech.org/ dont buy a new one, upgrade your whole cluster to a new bright color
  16. O-ring. i had mine replaced a few months ago because of leaking oil.
  17. because when you look all over your car, you will find alot of stuff that says toyota :D i would take a jdm soarer over a sc300/400 any day of the week. alot more cool stuff to play with.
  18. i suggest you spend a few extra $$ and get royal purple's Purple Ice.
  19. the nak system is much better than the pioneer system imo. Due to the more powerful amps and better quality speakers, the nak offers a crisper sound, deeper clearer bass, and clean highs from the tweets that are not pingy like other quality sound systems. i wish my car came with the nak system that way i didnt have to spend all that money upgrading mine. its hard to tell a difference between the nak and premium speakers when listening to the radio. the systems are much different when it comes to playing cds.
  20. the lights look good, interior is clean, paint seems to be good. I suggest u get rid of the rims, and remove the pin stripe. To bad it has a front license plate, kills the look of the sc imo. the leather looks very good.
  21. sorry about the delayed response, its been awhile since i have been on this forum. I got my HU install done at a place in Dallas called ear mark car audio. I payed around $400 for the custom plastic piece, the cd holder, and wiring. Around x-mas i plan on ripping it all out and putting in a carputer on my own. But if you want to do a custom install job, i suggest using bondo. Get some bondo, and some 2000 grit wet/dry sand paper.
  22. its just a panel that has popped off. HOWEVER! check carfax for a salvage title. you dont want a car if the airbag has gone off
