  1. Huh? are you just saying that you're running rich?
  2. LMAO, now I'm just curious what happened... although I'm certain its well deserved. I know SW03ES is reasonable when smacking people down with the banning stick. as far as anyone else that may be reading this post regarding tints... you can get computer cut tints off of ebay and put them on yourself... its really easy.. and its taking a huge chunk out of my side income... although some people still come to me with the tints precut and ask me to put it on for them...
  3. LX470 headlights aren't too common on forums. I can recommend you contact used lexus parts dealers through clublexus.com Send a private message to ALIGA on there to see what he can quote you. I have those projector headlights you've seen on ebay on my gs300 temporarily and they are pretty cheap but you get your money's worth out of them...
  4. sakatj...the ebay link didnt work...What was in it? I'm around that 110k mark and am thinking about doing basic tune up things now. tran flush ,plugs, allignment...did all pads and turned rotors, synthetic tranny fluid? oem plugs are they denso platinum? car holds 6 qts motor oil right? Toyota Type IV fluid is the safest bet... I think the plugs should be Denso Iridiums... it should specify in your owners manual... If you have a gs300 its 6qts for engine oil exactly, if you have a 430 i think its 6.4qts, I could be wrong, use the search function to get the exact number. For the 430 timing belt you'll usually need this stuff... Timing Belt - 13568-09070 Timing Belt Tensioner - 13540-50030 Timing Belt Idler Bearing - 13505-0F010 (Right) Timig Belt Ilder Bearing - 13503-50011 (Lower Leff) (13503-0F010) Water Pump - 16100-59275-83 (16100-59275) Thermostat - 90916-03100 Thermostat Gasket - 16346-50010 Cam Shaft Seal - 90311-71001 x 2 Pieces Crank Shaft Seal - 90311-A0001 (Front)
  5. are you talking about the lip spoiler?
  6. Like I said, coilovers are versatile. You can find them by a bunch of different manufacturers ranging in price. here are a few options... http://l-tunedparts.com/model/struct.php?m...10&cat_id=7 you can also check ebay...
  7. Has it ever worked at all? Are you sure the car is not in gear when you press the seat recall button?
  8. wow.. thats a lot of codes... how many miles do you have? Lots of misfiring going on there... I'd suggest a tune up.. new plugs.. check for vacuum leaks.. check coils.. goodluck.
  9. check the fuel pump, relay for the fuel pump...
  10. I just got a brand spanking new 14 inch crack on my GS... started off as a pebble hit that I did not see because it happened right behind my registration sticker.. the combined with snow and me using my defogger it spread like wildfire.... damn i wish I had glass coverage... Nice call on your dealer though for covering it.
  11. any signs of coolant in your motor oil? Also... could be a water pump on its way out...
  12. what part of NY are you in? Why buy them online... just go to walmart, autozone, advanced auto, pepboys... anywhere really... the sylvannia long life bulbs are pretty good. Also maybe your bulbs aren't blown... it could just be some oxidation or something in the socket.
  13. Go to an autozone and have them scan the code... they usually do it for free unless you're in California for some reason... take note of the codes and post them up here. We can help you further when you post that information.
  14. That puddle of oil around your plugs could be from a leaky valve cover gasket... not hard to change if you managed to change your plugs without problem.
  15. if its a po420 code I think its for a faulty cat... you can replace the cat... or delete all together and replace the post cat sensor with a simulator...
  16. What kind of mods are you looking into? A lot of people with basic mod's tend to go with the Apexi Neo AFC from what I've seen...
  17. possibly a coincidence... let us know what code comes up...
  18. I'm surprised he went through the pads at 20k... i think my GS3 pads lasted about 35k.. if not more. I guess the new IS's eat pads like cookies.
  19. Enjoy! I can't believe that price. Well done. seriously... i'm jealous.. but i guess now is the time to buy a car if you've got the money... i'm seeing car prices at all time lows.
  20. This is from rockauto. I don't know how long the shipping would take... or maybe you can look up carson toyota or sewell lexus and see if they could ship you an oem one sooner. They're very good to the lexus community and have the best prices on OEM parts. Goodluck. www.rockauto.com http://www.l-tunedparts.com http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/ DORMAN Part # M134427 More Info {First Stop #47201-24150} With Power Brakes; Bore = 1-1/16"; w/Traction Control
  21. possible bad coil pack? maybe a leaky VCG causing the misfire? I can't really say.. but as far as the 90k service goes, timing belt should always include the water pump... maybe the crank seals and tensioner as well. Maybe someone else can chime in the the CEL. I would also recommend the OEM plugs over the Bosch. Denso or NGK Iridiums I believe... if you're gonna go aftermarket i'd say torquemasters....
  22. I guess that 6.3 quarts throws them off a lil.
  23. Nice! Congrats on the acquisition, really nice price also.
