Wow thats an impressive list. I always thought that generation s-class was gorgeous. Especially the 03-06 models. Too bad MB sucks. Your really gonna love the LS430/460. The LS is the most reliable car in the world, and thats not an opinion, its fact, backed up by numerous studies and surveys. Welcome.

Ok guys. I just got a jade green 94 ls400 for only 2100 bucks. Its clean, runs great and the owner had alot of maintenence done in the past two years. Only 200k miles too. Went all the way up to philly to pick it up. I just couldn't let a deal like that pass up. I will post pictures after i clean it up. I really love these cars. They are incredible. Every time i sit in my car and drive i am just blissfully, blissfully happy. :D

Looks incredible in white. You have good taste.

Although I don't have an LS430 i do believe that sport suspension (euro tuned in lexus talk) is just slightly stiffer springs. I think the Air suspension can vary from sporty to normal to comfort. I would just buy the "euro tuned" if i were you.

thats an f'in rip. I can't believe a few couple hours of work and maybe two grand in parts and they charge 14k? I need to get in this business.

I've just seen worse i guess. The hood is a little bent and the bumper has some scuffs. No cracked headlights, no blown airbags, radiator looks as if its ok. I am an optimist i guess.

Actually this happened to me the other day. I was looking for a song on my ipod and there was a stop light. I stopped but while i was using the ipod i let go of the brake, and hit an explorer. No damage! none. Granted it was like a 3mph tap...thankfully the person wasn't a mooch. I could've gotten a $90 ticket, 3 points on my license, and higher insurance. I don't see any damage. Just pull that bend out and call it a day. I'm glad your okay and i'm very glad the airbags didn't go. Airbags suck at low speed crashes. My friend tapped the rear end of a f-150 and the airbags blew up in her face and damaged her nose and gave her a black eye and burned her eye somehow. She was wearing here seatbelt too. My new advice is, put the electronics down! My luck is running thin, and i can't afford (or bear to see) my old LS hurt.

What i want to know is, why are all Lexus at or above kbb in Atlanta? I don't know why there are never deals around here. KBB is already inflated beyond true market value. I don't want to spoil anything but, won't you have to pay GA sales taxes on your car? Is it from a private party or dealer? If its private then i guess no taxes? Take pics one it arrives!

I really like g35's but one thing i never got was the pedal for the emergency brake. This is a 3-series fighter. Why not a hand brake? Oh and the seat controls are daft. 260 hp is quite a step up man. Lucky you. I still can't believe that payout. Looks good man!

According to edmunds tmv,(which i go by) your ls400 without a salvage title is only worth about 15k WITHOUT a salvage title. Most salvaged cars are only worth 60-70% of their value . SOO the car according to TMV private party the car is only worth about 10k. Which IMHO is a steal if its clean and was fixed properly. I bet you could drive that thing for 5 years no problem, with basic maintainence that is. My basic advice for salvaged cars is, look closely at paint quality. If it was a good job only a very discriminating eye would be able to tell if it was painted. Look at body panel gaps. Look under the hood for any evidence of damage. If the owner had it for 4 years and it drives good then i think you might have a great deal on your hands.

I'm not talking about colored lamps or anything. Thats scion ricer crap. Just normal white or off white light. Do you think white courtesy lights would look bad? You know, when you open the door some little white lights would illuminate the floor in the back.. like in the front. Also those puddles would light up when you open any door. Then slowly fade when closed. Anything that looks good and cheap is hot in my book. I'm poor.

Dude your sc300 is awesome. It's gorgeous and mint. And a rare manual! Those is350 rims look great. I would keep those if i were you. I think any higher and you start diminishing ride quality with no performance gain. I am jealous. My ls400 is starting to look like an old !Removed!'s car in comparison. Oh well. Oh one or two more things. I hate those exuasts. They are ugly. Its funny you think the Gauges are boring... i love them for the simple fact that they look almost the same as they did back in 1989 when i was 1. When you have a winning formula why change it? Also i think they made a smart move. If they changed it too much they would be "copying the germans" and they would alienate the retirees that can afford them. The electronics look so intuative. I like that. You know what? I think the LS handles great for what it is. It's not pretending to be anything. And from the Slalom test numbers i have seen from various sources it actually handles very good. I can attest to this even on my 93. Oh btw i'm not fighting or anything, i'm just saying we have a (albeit a small ) difference of opinions.

I have the say the look is growing on me. I love how everything is where its always been in an LS. I do think the the best looker will the the SWB because in a picture i saw in C&D the LWB is pregnant looking. Not very sleek. The cabin area just looks too long. Same with the doors. It is visually stunning though. I love the picture where its at a stoplight next to a not so small avalon. I looks massive but in a strong impressive way. If i had the cash i'd take a sparsely (sp?) optioned (if that's possible) SWB in white with ML and Nav. Everything else is nonsense IMO. Also i hope they kill the pointy center stack in the next refresh. I dont want a dome semi-circle like an ES350 either. Just I softened rectangle... like the previous gens. I am so tired of hearing people say the LS is bland. I really don't care if its bland. Graceful and simple = bland to the masses. I love the simple classic lines and graceful curves. I'll let MB keep their wheel bulges and hideous steering wheel. Let BMW keep those flamed eyes and convex curves. Those Germans might look modern and different now but they will age quickly. The last gen S-Class was drop dead gorgous in my opinion. Think of a car like you would a suit. Do you want simple and well tailored OR flashy and modern? I'll take the simple suit thank you. It will look great for years to come. Same with the LS. Also I am so sick of people saying Lexus's dont have soul. What is soul exactly? What is character? Is breaking down character? Or is that soul? Is having a radical design (even if its grotesque) soul? Whatever. I will take my quiet, beautiful, and reliable machine and be on my way. If this is vanilla bland... its as close to perfect vanilla as you can get. Just my rant for the day. Oh by the way I'm just 18 and I HATE RICERS. Giant wheels, spoilers, ugly body kits, and loud tinny exausts can all rot in hell as far as I'm concerned. Take your blue tinted halogens (who are they kidding with these?)and NOS stickers with you too.
