Dude. I love that brown color. It is definatley making a come back in luxury cars. I have seen BMW's infiniti's and others with a brown color. If you can get 16 for it then maybe you should sell it. It's all based on your love for the car. Good luck with whatever you choose to do. PS I think even the new(ish) S-class has a special "mocha" color. Your color is very unique.

i counted at least two automatics in that bunch. None are really resonably priced except for one for 3k. There's one close to me in GA but 6k? for a 15 year old car? no thanks. It was white though. White and beige and perfect.

they were smart to not have nav standard. Remeber this is a rich old folks car. Most of them want simle buttons. Not all this touch screen stuff. At least they have a choice. BMW on the other hand was stupid. Incorprate everything into iDrive even if there's no nav! Idiotic. I'm talking bout the 5-series.

Wow. I think people expect too much from new cars. My dad just towed an 07 5-series. Somthing like a computer failure that shut the car off in the middle of the downtown connecter (I-85/75 merged, a 6 lane highway in Atlanta). No offense but, a leaky cover and a blown bulb is hardly a concern. Especially with all the freebies your getting. Lexus changed the way luxury car owners were treated. They've had so much success with that philosophy that i really doubt they are going to stray from it now.

You can get a perfect low mileage one owner 93-94 ls for 7k. Those are the years you want because of bigger wheels tires and brakes, lower cladding, and r134 ac( if you want a first gen). The only probs you might have are power steering, and alternator troubles ( they are related... the power steering fluid leaks onto the alternator and kills it). There are really no other problems that would be differrent from any other car. You know motor mounts, suspension components, bushings. Finding a well cared for example is easy. And unless your a perfectionist, repair bills wont be too high if you have a trusty mechanic. If can work on your car... even better becuase you'll never be in a rush since its a secondary vehicle. The LS is pretty easy to work on, but is tedious. good luck on the search! PS even high mileage LS400's shouldn't be knocked off your list. If they were taken care of they can be just as reliable at 200k. Lexus published an article about a guy who had upwards 500k on his LS. Original engine and Tranny.

Thats a ludacris price on an LS430. Unless its a last minute repo or somthin i seriously doubt he can get a clean never wrecked ls430 for less than 20k. If he can, sign me up. I need to find my mom some nice wheels! Even if it was wrecked it'd be worth 10k. I say go for it if he's legit.

OH NO! u have the same symptoms! as my black jade! I think the car needs a tune up but I will tell you if it helped. It doesn't necessarily feel slow. It just is. 9-10 secs for 0-60. I hope the tune up and some seafoam helps!

My 3rd break light had one of the two bulbs out and the light came on. Also later one of my liscense plate lights blew and the light came on. Check those.

Hey guys, i need your help. I just got back from testing my car and the fastest 0-60 time i could get was 9.5 secs. The car runs great but the exaust sounds more warbley in the 94 than in the 93. The 93 is faster about 8.1 for 0-60 and quieter. Also when breifly tap the gas in idle, the car sputters and stumbles slightly and rpms drop momentarily. What do you think is wrong? Thanks!

I'm so glad you asked this question. My new (to me) LS has the same problem! The telescoping seems to get tired after one or two extensions. It will work fine after it rests for a while. Very strange!, I hope there's a fix.
