i have the same problem on my 94 ls. It extend/retracts but gets "tired" (stops midway). Maybe when i get some free time i'll take it apart and see whats goin on.

Well I can see where people are soming from with the 80's S-class and the 1st Ls400. When the S has euro headlights the two cars look similar. Also look at the hood lines of the LS and S. Almost exactly the same. Other than that... I really don't see it. The LS looks way better in and out anyway. We can all say that the LS430 totally ripped the 90's S-class Coupe. Just take a look for yourself.

i just bought some needles on ebay and wanted to know how to take them off and put on new ones. I don't want to break anything! have you done it before?

So i've always envied the UK LS for its integrated bumper fogs. I decided to photoshop my car and see what it would look like with some factory fogs. Pretty gorgous in my opinion. Gimme feedback. MAybe this summer i can do a tasteful fog mod. here's the normal one

So has anyone ever done it? Like take them off a salvaged cluster or somthin?

I checked it too apparently you can only DL the IS350? I thought it came wiht the game. I haven't played it yet but plan to rent it and see if i like it.

Finally! I love driving lux cars in video games. I hate driving those stupid civics and supras. I'll win the race in a LS460.... yess!

My car is sagging on the driver side, about one inch lower than the other side. I don't want to spend too much since i don't have that much, what are my options? What should i replace? Are aftermarket products ok? Thanks

So my friend got into a minor accident and it was her fault. Anyways i was wondering if anyone has their old orange lights that they swapped out with the clear lights. I'm talking about the turn signal covers in the bumper. Thanks! BTW I only need the driver side. this is for a 92 ls400

As good as the V6 is, its still a V6 and Luxury Car buyers are enamored with v8's. Poor acura, i think they did good with the RL, but nobody knows or cares. One thing i don't understand is its and E Class/5-series/a6 competitor. All of them have v6's. Does nobody gives them flak becuase they offer v8's? The LS is moving upmarket. I think they offer those exec packages so the car CAN be very expensive. Higher the price, the more prestige. I guess i dunno. One thing i do think is MB should bring that 4.7/4.5 v8 into the S-class. They need to lower their base price for the S-class, and 0-60 in 6.5 is still plenty fast.

The LS350 might make sense in europe, but not here. The GS460 and LS350 would overlap. Although it would make sense to the consumer 0-60 in 7s is plenty fast (thats my estimation for the LS350) fuel economy wouldn't be much better. Even If the LS350 started at 55k most everyone would make the jump to the 460. 72 more horses for only 5 grand. Thats cheap. Also I think the LS600h is designed to be almost a halo car with almost no compromise in fuel economy or performance. It will make people percive Lexus as a true rival to the germans. People also respect Lexus more just from the parking feature. Thats what they want. Lexus wants to be the new MB, the new world standard. I would love to hear other opinions.

I called them last week. They seemed very knowladgeable and very fair. They are also the cheapest ANYWHERE. only 200 for everything fixed. I told them they should start repairing LCD's too.

Its not a glorified camry. It changed the way luxury cars were made during the 90's. 185k on a maintained car is nothing. If you get it at trade in, that is quite a deal! Oh BTW things do go wrong like any car but most problems have been addressed so if you have any questions, before you ask i recommend you use the search feature. Also air spring can be a pain to deal with so ask your friend if they have ever been serviced. HE would probably remebmer because they are 1k a piece. If you have a good trusty mechanic then your really are set. good luck with your decision. And welcome to the club. PS If you don't want it I do! haha... seriously. Oh also i didn't answer this. That car wil make it to 300k no problem! Except for the air suspnsion. You can convert them to normal coils springs though when the air struts die.

All I can say is... dumb review! Why compare two incredibly different cars? I can say the 750 FELT much better in the turns, but if i had to commute on crappy highways and be stuck in city traffic there would be no other than the LS. I can say the LS is the camry of luxury cars. It does everything well, and will last forever. Might be short on passion, but what is passion anyways? I'll leave canyon carving to a miata. My point is different tools for different jobs. Oh BTW I love his reviews for how ridiculous they are. He said the GS300 was slow and loud. I think he also said (or someone from ttac) said the IS handled poorly. Right.

Ok so the other day i was at O'reily gettin some oil and i saw seafoam. I bought a can but havne't tried to use it yet because I'm afraid of 1)ruining my O2 sensors 2) doing something wrong! I'm pretty sure I'm due for new sparks and wires, and due for an oil change too soo, does anybody have some pics of where I'm supposed to put 1/2 the seafoam on the first gen 4.0? Also does anyone have some recomendation for sparks and wires? I know NGK's are good but which spark should i get? Thanks!
