  1. Have you driven a Ford Five Hundred? My guess is no. The 500, while it still suffers from cheap materials and poor build, is a huge step forward for Ford. Both it and the Chrysler 300 are very good offerings. mburn, your grandkids? I am not even going to start this one again! (KIA...HYUNDIA...FORD...whatever...I have not driven a Ford 500...and I do not care to drive one either...so I will not comment on the Car! :D :D :D
  2. It is funny...how fast you can get someone's attention with a simple letter. Well glad it worked out for you! :D
  3. CONGRATS! Hope that you enjoy your new car. If you have problems at least you have the warranty. The friend that works on them is a BIG + too...
  4. Thank you for your service!!!
  5. I was not going to say antything at all... by the way what do the auto wipers do........... :whistles: :whistles: :whistles:
  6. Yup, on occasion I had the same problem on my '03ES.......we'll see if they're improved on the ES350. Personally, I could do without this accessory.......but it's fun to watch. :P LOADS of fun to watch! :D You are just like WTH is going on! I have to say mine work a lot better than my sister's benz that she had did. It was all or nothing with it and most of the time nothing...it would pour and they would wipe like it was misting.
  7. Then everyone will whine about how HUMID it is outside due to all the automobiles "spewing" steam into the air! Hahahahaa..... Next thing you know, we're all riding in horse and buggies again. Now granted they'll be Lexus buggies with navigation, leather, and tickle your feathers seat massagers....hahahaa Don't forget PETA. I don't think that they would think it is humane to do that to a horse...LOL :D this is a joke!
  8. It was meant as a global comment on the conspiracy idea, and not directed at you. Sorry for any confusion. Thanks...I was pretty sure that you did not direct it at me!!! I agree with you anyway... :D
  9. I am about as far from left wing as you can get, if this was intended for me. :whistles: Iraq selling us Oil when we are giving them billions of dollars in aid...is to me a joke! The oil for food project as you said was a scam...and now we are rebuilding Iraq so that we can blow it back up...I have all the respect in the world for our military and our President...that does not mean that I have to like all the things that have been done.
  10. . :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: WHAT CAN WE DO??????? I think the real bad thing is that high gas prices causes everthing else to go up too. I keep hearing this thing about not buying any gas from Exxon/Mobil...I get the email every other day from some people. This could work if enough people started doing it. The main cause is other countries that are now developing having a larger need for oil. It is a shame that we could not have had a loan repayment deal with all of the countries that we have bailed out and helped
  11. DING KING !!! Steve WTH are you talking about. I think you are watching to many low budget flicks... Just kiddin... Rfields I feel your pain. This is the reason that I leave my Lexus in the Garage as much as I do. I would be *BLEEP*ed off if I did that...but I would be real *BLEEP*ed off if I came back to my car and someone else had done that. I have had a few people get me, and I park at the end of every parking lot. Absolutley no WALMART, or mall parking lots for my Lexus...will drive the Jeep and not have to worry the whole time if someone puts a nice fresh one in the door. Off subject but most people have no respect for other people's stuff. Sorry to hear about the dent...I think you can find someone that can take it out for you as SW03ES said 100 - 150 bucks...btw you did not damage paint bad did you? If so you may still have to do some touch up work.
  12. Would not ever think about taking a shot at you about your age I just turned 27 in April. I think what I like about you is that you believe in what you do. I as you love my job, sure it has its ups and down...I may disagree with you on a lot of things but that is life...and as I said before I/we learn from this. I think that if I was buying or selling a home in your area I would look you up...because I know that you would work hard for your clients, as I do. You may not tell me what I want to hear but I think that you would be straight forward and tell it like it is. I may not agree with some of the concepts that you use but that is your choice, as mburnickas has his own...but I am glad that we live in a country that we have this much opportunity and potential...to do what we want... I do have to say that I have enjoyed reading this post just about as much as any post I have read so far. :D
  13. I don't live far away...who do you think is driving up our real estate! People from DC, Annapolis, NY, NJ, and PA. And I will believe what I hear on the news. I also will listen to people who have been in the business for much longer than you. They are currently not buying any properties now because they expect the market to fall...I just got off of the phone with 2 realtors that have their own Real Estate Agencies guess what they have both told me the same thing...SLOW First of all, you can't believe everything you're hearing on the news. News is written with one purpose, to sell news. And to think you told me I should be a politician...we are not talking about the National Inquire here. FOX, CNN, MSNBC all wrong????? Well you can be president :whistles:
  14. Becareful you may start something????????? :D :D :D :D
  15. This is called thinking for yourself According to you we are not allowed to think for ourselves... But when you post it is with the attitude that "I am right you are not" So you've never posted in this way? What about the drilling you gave us about how insurance works? You were abusive to people because they disagreed with you. Yes I acted like a !Removed! and I did also appoligize for it! The world would be a lot better if everybody didn't assume they knew the truth until they've decided what it is for themselves. The world would be alot better if everyone did not act like a know it all too! I do not have to drive the car to say it is made cheap Why not? So you're saying its okay to spout what other people have said as fact without looking to see for yourself if its true? It the very least you should just not speak because you have no idea what you're talking about It is funny I have explained this 5 times...I do not have to drive the car to say it is made cheap. I can see them I can hear other people speak about them, I can also know the managers of body shops/ repair facilities, dealerships, and car rental companies that have told me that they have problems with them all of the time. But I am going to go rent one just so I can tell you I have driven it! It has not 1 thing to do with the fact it is a KIA or a Huyndia...if people told me horror stories about Toyota's and they came from reputable people I would not have considered buying a Toyota or a Lexus...why is this so hard to understand. do you respect DIET RITE a knock off diet soda Have you ever tried Diet Rite? I haven't, so I would not respect it nor disrespect it because I have no experience from which to base an opinion. I don't regurgitate the opinions of others, I form my own. I've heard people say they hate it, I've heard people say they like it better than Diet Coke. Doesn't matter, I haven't tried it so I won't comment on it. Good for you! My 2 cents, JT Thanks for the 2 cents!!! :D I love my Lexus too!
  16. :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: With interest rates rising and sorry to offend anyone in the real estate business "the slowing market" that is reported on every national NEWS station I would be crazy to take a interest only loan. Had a 15 year on last home on new home took a 30 and pay additional into principal every month. I write off the interest and I do not plan on selling my home. I know plenty of people that have bought homes with interest only loans that are betting the market is going up so that they can sell them just to make enough money to pay the realtors. I have to agree I am seeing more reduced prices and all of the news media is reporting the same. I deal with many of people that have been in the real estate business 30 years and up, and they all tell me the same. I purchased my first house at the right time sold it, and bought another at the right time...I could have done it with interest only loans? Why would I? Yes it is gambling and you said it yourself that if the market falls just hang on to them until they go back up...I myself am guaranteed that my rate will not go up for 30 years. Scenario: You are a realtor since market is slowing and interest rates are on rise...you make substantially less money in the next few years...and if family can not bail you out and you can't make those interest only loan payments can't get equity line because now you owe more than the house is worth. Bankruptcy! See below: Risk Factor Nationwide, there has been an increased use in exotic mortgage loans of interest only and adjustable rate mortgages. Though, such data are not readily available for the local market, it is likely following this national trend. Therefore, rising interest rates will place some homeowners in greater risk of default . But the risks are mitigated from recent healthy job gains. Given the favorable housing affordability, significant gains in home prices are certainly possible, particularly if the job market strengthens. • There is no good information regarding interest-only loans in the local market. But if it reflects a national trend of a higher usage of interest-only loans, then some homeowners could feel the pinch of higher rates over time. .btw see where I got this from... National Association of REALTORS® Research Division 500 New Jersey Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20001 The best way to find out what your home is worth is to call a real estate agent in and have them do a CMA for you. This will give your MARKET VALUE which is supported by 3-6 months of past comparable sales data. Most will do this for free for you in the hopes of earning your future business, I do. I do agree with you on this! And yes I think that if I was to buy a house with intentions to flip then I may consider not using a conventional loan! To each his/her own :D
  17. So I answered it: How can you not like something you've never tried? You don't want to like the car because its a Kia or Hyundai, regardless of how well built the car might be. Thats incredibly closed minded. WTH is your problem? Why do you always have to jump off the deep end when someone posts something that is contrary to yours? OK...(deep breath) I love reading other peoples post that differ from the way I think/feel that is how we learn. But when you post it is with the attitude that "I am right you are not" I do not have to drive the car to say it is made cheap. I can see them I can hear other people speak about them, I can also know the managers of body shops/ repair facilities, dealerships, and car rental companies that have told me that they have problems with them all of the time. They might be a great car I DO NOT CARE. I am not telling anyone to buy them or not. You just said that you would by a Honda odyssey why not a KIA or a Hyundai...do they not make mini vans...did I say anything bad about Honda, Toyota, Nissan???? I had a Toyota Camry for 3 years had a Celica before that both great cars. I have had problems with many American made cars therefore I have said I don't think that unless things change I will buy another one. I also know quite a few people that work on cars that will tell you in a second if you ask them...how can KIA or Hyundai make a car that cheap...they will tell you "you said it cheap" If you came back and said I would buy a KIA because or I would not buy a KIA because...BLA BLA BLA...cool.... but you say YOUR PROBLEM IS well who is jumping off the deep end...you can feel how you want about the car why do I have to respect the car do you respect DIET RITE a knock off diet soda??? They did the same thing and made it cheaper...
  18. I would buy one, if I were shopping for an intermediately priced family car (Camry, Accord, etc) but I'm not. There are many cars that I would buy, if they would suit my needs and desires. The Honda Odyssey for instance, its probably the best van on the market and I'd buy one in a second...if I needed a minivan. If you truly know a lot about cars, and are an auto enthuiast you can like and respect a model or company even though you'd never purchase one of their cars. I would never buy a Kia or Hyundai. BUT, I would never buy a Camry or an Accord either because they're not my kind of car. That doesn't mean that I don't believe a Camry or Accord isn't a fantastic family sedan. I simply have no need for or desire to own a family sedan in general. Your problem is that you're either incapable or unwilling to recognize that other people have different needs and tastes in vehicles than you do (among other things). Not everyone can buy a Lexus...not everyone who can buy a Lexus wants a Lexus either. I would never buy an RX330 for instance, but I think its a terriffic crossover SUV. But what I'm saying is, when you factor in the price difference, the Optima is the more attractive car. IF you can get past the fact its a Kia. I just said I AM NOT SAYING THEY ARE A BAD CAR. Not everyone can buy a Lexus (wow you have figured something out cheaper) Here you go telling people what their problems are...of course eveyone has different taste in cars, and people have different budgets too. For anyone who wants to buy one that is great...but because I do not like the car you have to tell me my problems...grow up!!!!
  19. Well I have learned that you need to be careful when talking about KIA's and HYUNDIA's here.... I am curious to know if they look so good then tell me why you would not buy one???? For me I think they have done exactly what has been said...copied a good car and made it cheaply! I have said it before I personally would not buy one not saying they are a bad car but they are certainly not the same car as they have copied....
  20. I use 87- have no problem get great MPG 21 - 24 average have done caculation by hand and using the NAV system. Mine is a 2004 AWD...and in owners manual it says 87 or higher... I have used premium and notice no performance or MPG gain at all.
  21. Take it back to them! I would. Maybe it is a quick fix on them!
  22. Had to know that it was coming! Sucks...
  23. I do not think that they will refund you any money...but if you sell outright you may be able to transfer the warranty to the new owner. I do not think that I would bother spending 1,500 on the extended warranty if I was thinking about getting rid of the car in next year...
