well yes he sounds stupid but unrestrictive filters can alter the spool chatacteristics, one of my friends had an HKS VPC installed and got rid of the flapping gate air flow sensor and that thing spools up in a hurry

what alarm? if you diconnect the battery it shouldnt even go off. and if it goes off when you connect the battery just unlock the door with the key

quicker spool up could mean "stay on longer" meaning boost comes on earlier

you dare compare a lexus to a jag? just kidding but i would get the SC without a heart beat. i have worked on jags... not well built. their flagship XJ like has rear axles like a truck. meaning it has primative parts that are far from superior. oh and yes nutorious for unknown engine problems. head room might be a problem and watch out for those exaust tips i have gotten a second degree burn from that on my leg just by walking and sweeping my leg on it. the skin o my leg just melted off :o well i have more but it will keep on going. bottom line just buy the SC.

if you have problems with JIC or TEIN then look at other companies like HKS which is like the Gucci of car parts or Cusco. stuff for the supra fits right? so do that

as long as the car doesnt sink in the suspected faulty shock area after a couple of hours after your car has been turned off you have nothing to worry about because the air blow off sound is normal.

assuming the tach in the second picture is in the correct position then the steering wheel is blocking the right area of the tach in the first picture so i would think that the car is actually going 150. i mean who would go through all the trouble to make the speedo go to 150 when all you have to do is stomp your foot for a bit?

yea cold and humid can cause bad engine performance maybe your air temp sensor is a bit off?

well both needles are about in the right place well the rpm's we cant see but its in the right region (about 4000) it does look smooth but there is a lot of light so the shutter speed was probably very fast so small bumps wouldnt show.

well good choice! why dont you just do the needle replacement your self? it would seem that it would be much quicker. oh and did you find out if the needles are available in red?

i think your headed for a new starter. has there been a starter thats been put in there already? because these starters tend to go every 100k miles or so if thats your original starter in there that starter lived a long and purposeful life

wait...lexual you said only 170hp the the wheels? where is the 80 going to? i was expectiong at least over 210hp the the wheels. the v8 makes 250 right?

well i dont know of any feature like that on mine

change all fluids, change timing belt, and if you want the water pump. maybe change the serpentine belt if its cracking. thats all i can think of now, you should try and call the dealers and ask exactly what they do. and i dont think you need a valve adjustment either because last time i checked(120k mi) the valves were still in specs.

well yea its not too good of an idea to drift a car thats not yours and well everyone crashes so dont do it unless your dad says destroy the car
