  2. I'm 99% sure that cd changers were standard in the 1999es. As far as a code goes you probably won't need one, But if you do I beleive it is the last 4 digits of your key code. Or is it the last 4 #'s in the vin# Either way you get 10 tries before you have to bring it in to get decoded.
  3. Check to see if the orifices (3 of them ) are clogged first, Then make sure the line from the pump is clear.
  4. You shouldn't have any problem. The only way your going to get a error is if there are issues with the replacement changer. So buy from a reputable source, Ebay is not the best for this. By the way, Wrong forum. Try audio/video or ls forums next time.
  5. Again, I will add there is no better pad/rotor setup for your lex than oem.
  6. Tranny fluid in our cars has to reach 153 degrees to operate normally.

  8. Too funny , Use a leather cleaner then a conditioner. Let someone else check the results. :whistles:

  10. Maybe it is the driver ? Geez. I am not looking to create a flame war here. Re_evaluate your situation, Almost NOONE has warping problems with there lex. cool down and do some searches on these boards,
  11. YOU DO UNDERSTAND THERE IS A BREAK IN PERIOD FOR NEW ROTORS ? Usually I do not use all caps, There is a +- for rotors/pads. I'm at my ends with repeated posts, I recomend that mods merge such post's, There are WAY TOOOOO !!! many repeated discussions on these boards. I MAY BE WRONG ???????????????????????????????
  12. I've had the mx's on my es for 3 years and 36k mi. through winters sun and rain. I would/will have them again. I have the pilot sports on my gs and will follow suit. Nothing like riding on michelins. I had michelin x-1's on the es prior and I also had them on my 95 camry, WOW! I wish Michelin still made that tire. To all who ride falkens, goodyears, and the rest. GOOD LUCK. There isn't a better tire on the road than Michelins for your lexus. No, I have no affiliation with any tire company. :)
  13. I know exactly what you mean, I have a 93 with 180+ on it and it runs better than alot of new cars on the road.
  14. Get the Toyota IMHO, No need to leave these forums, Hang around and be part of the community. There are members here which are very/overly active who have cars that should be on other forums, In fact it seems like a soap opera most of the time, You know, chirp, chirp, chirp. Anyway, Feel welcome and stay involved.
  15. There are grades of Raybestos rotors if I am not mistaken. THe ones you want to get are made in North American (U.S. or Canada). I've had the parts counter guys try to push off the Chinese made Raybestos ones on me before. Finally ended up getting them from Rockauto.com IMO I think the ceramics are the best becuse of the heat dissipation. Buy OEM pads and rotors. ;) The brakes didn't squeal when you drove it off the lot, If you are trying to get by with anything else you will have problems sooner or later. Those toyota engineers are pretty damn good. ;)

  17. I know you are new here BUT you have got to learn how to use the search feature on these boards. This issue has been covered more than it has to. Educate yourself and get used to using these boards before you ask for information that has been covered over and over and over and over, If you can't find the info go to www.lextech.org and search there. By the way welcome to the club
  18. I beleive it is the R34. Post a pic of the battery in the engine bay, We'll get you up and running ;)
  19. Fantastic That looks like new. WOW ! ! ! Congrats on the fine job Well worth the effort. Did you get a cd changer back that works ?
  20. I dont, Brandon does, his turbo comes in and out constantly. LOL, every time he tears his engine apart, his setup changes. he could have that turbo back on there and retuned in a day if he wants. My engine isnt turboed...yet...BUT, i am running an 11.0:1 compression ratio...on a STOCK intake. because i havent found anything less restrictive, or that gives more than a modest gain for the money. Oh, and a 90 degree angle is VERY restrictive. u would need to draw air from the bumper area to make it a littel bit effective.. i played around with a tacoma short intake on the car once, and found out with a little movin stuff around, there was aslight increase with the filter element down under the bumper . i always heard 6-12 inches away from the throttle body was best for the mas/maf Hey Toys, Why not do this mod to a stock intake ?
  21. contact O.L.T. on clublexus.com Also known as LLS on these boards. LLS is giving away FREE NEEDLES on Feb. 26th as a celebration of his 2nd year anniversary. Check it out on his website, www.lextech.org.
  22. When you have work done on your car always ask for the old parts. And ask to see the actual work being done if it is within your schedule. ;)
  23. Actually I have purchase parts from them before . Also I was willing to pay in full for the parts on the phone using a major credit card. Hint: When ordering parts over the phone tell them you are a repair shop and your parts will be discounted substantially. I do it all the time with lexus of wayzata and they speedy deliver right to my door free of charge. What they don't know won't hurt them. ;)
