  1. Just search your year and model. Good Luck
  2. No, The gs will not fit. Take it to a reputable stereo shop and have them test it.
  3. I personally would go with OEM, Especially if you get wholesale.
  4. Jibby, You would be in good company: 2003 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.9 sec. 2003 Dodge Viper 4.0 sec. 2002 Dodge Viper GTS ACR 4.0 sec. 2005 Chevrolet Corvette 4.3 sec. 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 4.3 sec. 2002 Ferrari 360 Modena 4.3 sec. 2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra 4.5 sec. 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG 4.5 sec. 1995 Toyota Supra 4.6 sec.
  5. Maybe the unit has a loose connection. Did you ever see "SEC" on the lcd ?
  6. Headunit is easy to switchout. Let's see I think I have pix somewhere, Yeah, Here they are.
  7. 20 mins. north of the TC's, The headunit is your radio/cassette component in the center dash.

  9. Have you checked all the connections to the headunit ? The amp ? etc... Yeah, Grand Rapids is a ways from me. Hope you get this worked out. Maybe your headunit is shot.
  10. I 100% agree, Aftermarket is the way to go in this situation.
  11. We accept donations.................... Glad you figured it out Post pix. ;)
  12. Looks like you got all the help you need. Let us know how it turns out.
  13. If you're talking about the factory installed Navigation, it may be possible but be prepared to shell out some big cash. At least a couple grand for parts/labor I bet. I can tell you that you are going to pay around 2k for the parts alone, Then there is the issue of building a custom wiring harness. I knew a guy who I sold a nav system to who had a 00 rx he had to tear the car down to get to the body harness, After hours and hours of intense labor and a custom made harness he got the nav to work. He is the ONLY person that I have ever heard of to succesfully install a nav into a non nav rx. Very unlikely you will succeed. One of the most difficult installs that I have ever been involved with.
  14. Another one: A young lexus motorist from east kent, Had a front wheel that was bent, At a local road junction, The brakes failed to function, He came to LOC to vent.
  15. If this is the future in tires I welcome it. When I saw the first pair of runflats several years ago I thought an airless tire wasn't too far away. Maybe ?
  16. I want to know how much $ bmw is paying this jerk ? Well, read his review of the 5 series and you will find that he hates BMW just as much... I actually had an e-mail conversation with the guy, just to set some facts straight, and he is one of these people that just don't give a damn about other people's opinion. His e-mail responses were disrespectful and clearly written by a complete jerk...
  17. This is for a GS but it should get you in the ballpark. gs_door_panel_removal.bmp
  18. I personally like the tan/coach leather myself ( next lex ), Although I have black leather in both cars. Black leather is easy to take care of and is very forgiving.
  19. If they made it look like a Pneumatic tire cosmetically it wouldn't be so bad. Just think no more flats/spare tire, checking pressure etc... Of course they would have to offer a variety of wheel choices.
  20. Start here: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...hl=brake+rotors http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...hl=brake+rotors sorry! :D i didn't think to search every forum! No Sweat, Let us know what you decide.

  22. No PMs for this one. Post it right here in the thread. I think that everyone should enjoy them. Kewl - I'm not corporate Lexus (I'd be driving a new LS 430 if that was the case!!). I just had some leftover decals and a few other items that I'm doing some early spring cleaning with. Army- Good ones, but your last line needs to rhyme with the first two lines (AABBA pattern.) Keep em coming - Brandon Here you go: While watching a lexus's motion, LOC conceived of the notion, That mechanical laws, Not an unknown cause, Ruled the physical worlds automotion.
  23. What are your thoughts ? Michelin has developed a airless tire/wheel "The Tweel" http://www.michelinman.com/difference/rele...e01102005a.html
  24. Tyler, Where in minnesota are you ? If I am not mistaken there are 2 fuses for the audio.
