Personally, I like 2 large exhaust tips rather than twin twins. I mean if the rx had 500+ hp then the twins would be fine. In my opinion it is overkill. Looks OK but...??????????????? I think that the twins on the new vette are overkill too ! Although some will disagree with me. So, wtfc's

A cover just isn't lexus if you know what I mean, It is fine if you travel with a pet all the time ( maybe ). I personally would get new leather rather than cover up the old seats. Sure leather is more $ but you get what you pay for. ;)

When it dies and you turn the key to the acc. position does the dash light up ?

It sounds like it could be something in the ecu that expands and disconnects, Then cools down and reconnects like a crack in a circuit board or something on those lines. Just a guess, I had a car back in the 80's that did this and it reminds me of my few times going down the road then WHAM totally off, disconnected, shutdown. 5 min. later it would start and I never knew when it would happen again.

Happy to hear that you made the right choice, I have had my 98 gs300 for 6 years and the car has been pretty much trouble free. I had to replace #2 fuel injector and the starter contacts. Really been a great car.

mdscorp, I have a brand new and a used changer for your 2001 es, They both include all the panels for a first time install. Leave your email or pm me for all the details. Was there ever a cd changer installed in the car ?

Keep up the great work. I am a fan of the IS series. And lexus in general ;) . SALUTE It's not rough, its a style thing. And very well done at that. Yeah the styling is fine, I did say it was my personal opinion though. And we all have different tastes. Kind of reminds me of the speed racer series.

It is my opinion that mid is just fine, Other members might disagree. Analitical views are always welcome.

40 + hp ? Never, More like 4-8hp if that. It is not the intake that srt makes that increases hp it is the piggyback add on to the ecu. The srt intake itself is a downgrade , Stock intake with the piggyback is just as good.

122k is no prob for a turbo upgrade, And easier to find. Powerdyne makes a sc for the 2jz. Have you considered a swap ?
