  1. Another one down and many more to come HAPPY BIRTHDAY SK
  2. I wouldn.t worry about any security code, If you find you need one it is the last 4 digits of either the key code or the vin #. Either way you have 10 tries.
  3. Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to our esteemed member Rx330driver, Many, Many more...
  4. I agree that a full and thorough inspection is in order. New tires and a complete detailing should be done also.
  5. It sounds like your amp not the headunit. Thanks man, will check it out, where the world is the amp??? Passenger side in the trunk quarter panel. What happens is they get wet down there and short out.

  7. Enjoy the stay, It is a great place to visit. Post pix when you return. Have a GREAT time.
  8. It is the amp. Very typical problem. ;)
  9. Beautiful car The GS has always been a favorite of mine........ ;)
  10. What system do you have ? Pioneer or nak. ?

  12. Yes, They will fit.
  13. drag coefficients don't make that much difference at posted speeds in the USA, It isn't like you gain 2-4 mpg from one model year to the next. Like I stated, If they flew that would be different. But they don't. Besides all cars would look like bullets if that was the concern...............
  14. After I uploaded the file I noticed you have a sc, Hopefully it will be of some assistance......... :whistles: 2000_ES_CHANGER_WIRING.pdf
  15. Welcome to the club
  16. http://dailynews.att.net/cgi-bin/news?e=pu...0qo1&src=ap As expected .........................
  17. nc211, The styling per air tunnel results don't add up on the real road, Then we would be talking tires/suspension and the like. If lexus vehicles were meant to fly then the tunnel results would be warranted. I understand about wind noise etc... but that is what soundproofing is for. When was the last time you heard a wind whistle on a toyota/lexus ? That is with a straight on wind, Not a side wind. And at what speed ?
  18. First On Repair Day
  19. LexKid630, I agree with you on the new models that lexus has. In my opinion they are losing there independant "LOOK" and becoming more like middle of the road styling. Lexus, Nissan, BMW, Even Huyundia are all sharing in a similar "LOOK" Not for me.:whistles: Although I wouldn't kick any one of them out of my driveway.
  20. Not that I document my milage, But It seems like there is a 1-2 mpg increase. I have had it on for over a year now.
  21. Beware :whistles: Awfully inexpensive for that car...............
  22. Nc211, SK has one on his LS, I am sure he'll give you the full report. I have one on my GS and I think it is worth the $ and it is very easy to maintain. Thanks DC, I appreciate the feedback, and I'll contact SK shortly. I've heard that they make the engine louder because the engine breathes better....is this true? Doesn't seem like it would be, unless you messed wih the exhaust system too. No extra noise (sound) on my front. I have been back and forth with my intake ( Mods and the like ) I have gone back to the stock intake with the K&N and am very satisfied. Like it has been said, Just do not over oil the filter and make sure you seal the filter with the sealant for the filter to the filter frame. ;)
