  1. Only if you have a nak in the car now. Is there an adapter I could use to make the Nakamichi radio work in my car? If you do not have nak now you would have to switch the entire system over. There is no adapter.
  2. For the cost of a sc you could go turbo.
  3. No, 4 allen screws and the oil cap, Then it pulls right up. ;) I just checked my timing belt. Welcome to the club
  4. I'm curious as to why you would consider the swap ?
  5. Only if you have a nak in the car now.
  6. I concur, The amp location is deplorable in the early sc's. They always get wet and fry. If you find out that is the problem I will get you a amp that works with the waterproofing instructions. ;) I've already replaced mine. What waterproofing procedures do you advise? Thanks in advance. Where were you able to find your amp I am currently looking for one as well! Check your email.
  7. I'll keep it around for you.

  13. That's the sensor alright, You shouldn't take the sensor itself apart to clean it. The other tubes are just breather tubes so I would clean them anyway.
  14. SK has a good point about the oil buildup on the sensor. And I would clean the piping for sure. Use isapropyl alcohol and a cotton swab to clean the sensor and be very careful. Let us know the results.
  15. You have to remove the throttle body not the intake manifold. You do have to remove the air intake ( the black plastic tube connected to the throttle body ) to get the throttle body off though.
  16. What does the actual intake nose look like ?
  17. I would avoid the 90 degree angle on the intake, The smoother and more straight the piping is better. Can you post a pic of your project ?
  18. ohjustaguy, Thanx for dropping in, Welcome to the club You will find these forums to be full of usefull information. The Supra sounds like a nice machine, Any pix that you care to post ?
  19. Kevin, You need a direct replacement amp. You will lose most functions of your current headunit with aftermarket. No other lexus amp will take it's place. :cries:
