  2. rmcphearson, The bushings need to be replaced to stop the squeaking, or you can spray WD-40 around the bushings. I have read somewhere on this site that it helped stop the noise.   6. sc4sooner, I know the older ES300 models, with the Cd unit in the trunk is a plug & play. Not sure if it will solve the problem with CD's skipping. I use Memorex CD-R and noticed CD's that have a face/cover label work better and skip less.
