  2. yeah, i'm certain they have been discontinued. Is there any online resources that can give me a model name if i have the serial number? I hope I can find some for sale online once I find the name of the model. Thanks for your response. ib2quik2c, You could contact OZ site directly, without taking off your rim. Send the same picture of the rim in your email to the company. Here is a link to OZ to ask your question. Good Luck! http://shop.ozracing.com/moda/send_feedback.php
  3. ib2quik2c, The inner portion (have to take off the wheel to locate) of the rim, may have a serial number indicating the rim style. Keep in mind, companies usually manufacture rims in mass production for a year or two then discontinue.
  4. Barkley, The rims and the Es look fantastic. Loving the bright shine of your Es too.
  5. schott1984, Here is a link with steps and pictures provided by ClubLexus.com http://clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109384 I would just replace the front with 2 new speakers. I replaced my blown rear speakers with CDT Audio 2-way speakers. Here the link of my process for the rear speakers. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...amp;hl=speakers
  6. Barkley, I personal like the style\look of the The Sport Edition E1 rims. I don't like and don't care for the (fake) circular rivets on The Sport Edition KV5 rims. Good Luck with your decision.

  9. Member1115, Keep in mind steps 3 through 5 will be different since your Sc has corner lights. Most likely, your bulb will just twist out like my turn signal light bulb on my '95. I think this way will be easier than the process shown above. The way I changed the foglight bulb was: 1. Take a few of the bolt to the front fenders' splashguard off, pull the splash gaurd back and wedge it against the front tire. This wll give you access to the fog light casing. 2. The foglight will be enclosed, with a circular plastic cap. Turn it counter clock-wise to open the casing. 3. This will give you access to the bulb and socket. In the casing is a white plastic, the bulbs wire fits snug into the socket. I had to wiggle and tug, until I disconnected the wire. 4. Note there is a clasp holding the bulb in place do not open the clasp. Disconnect the the bulb from the socket first...because the clasp keeps the bulb from droping and getting in your way. To open the clasp, I believe you push down and it will unfasten. 5. When replacing the buld with a Holagen\ Xenon type of bulb DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS with your hands it shortens the life of the bulb.
  10. DUSKBLUE, Short tread life can occur from the following: 1. Summer tire... tread life is short 2. Tire Alignment...when buying new tires 3. Not Rotating the Tires...3000 miles 4. Low Air pressure...check 1 a month 5. Out of balance Look at this link below to determine the tire wear you are experiencing. http://www.keisters.com/Abbreviations%20Pa...earproblems.htm
  11. Member1115, In hot temperature days, run the AC and wear short pants.
  12. oslo, They should fit fine, here is a picture of a '92 LS with the stock 350 rims. Specs OEM IS350 F: 18x8 - 225/40/18 R: 18x8.5 - 245/40/18 scroll down to post #119 http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread...rims&page=8
  13. slinzy, You should test your rear speakers with working speakers, before you purchase a new/used amp. In most cases it's the speaker that has blown and not the amp.
  14. downsouth, It's probably that your stock speakers have blown. I went over a bump and my rear speakers started to faded out. Here is a picture of my stock, blown midrange speaker. The foam just disintegrate from the sun/heat.
  15. tjnels, I would part it out, join clublexus.com site and put the parts up for sale in the classifieds. 23. ac7228, I own a Sc400 and the part number for the footwell is 168/194. I used the WLED-x6 LED wedge base bulbs. The part number for the interior cabin fixture is 3022. I used the 3022-x4 LED Festoon bulb. I haven't any problems with the LED bulbs. Use the site below to determine the Sc430 part numbers for bulbs. http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/A...placementGuide/
  24. ac7228, This is a good site for LED lights. I have the WLED-x6 LED Wedge Base Bulbs in the door, license plate, trunk, park lights and amber color in the side markers. http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html I have the Festoon Base Bulb in the interior cabin fixture. http://www.superbrightleds.com/festoon.html The site has upgraded since my last purchase in 2005, they have stronger bulbs (brighter lighting) to select.
