The problem i have is that on my sc, the seal where the windshield and the roof of the car meet, the seal there is starting to get worn out and has holes in it, the rain was really hard today, and it was dripping like crazy, how can i reseal it so i dont get any water in my car anymore?

that doesnt even look like a 1uz, looks alot different from mine at least, this is mine.

well, i bought a new amp, a new cd changer, and a new head unit for the car on ebay, its a factory one from a 94 i think, mine only came with a cassette player, i was told if i hooked up the new unit and amp and changer that it would fry the wiring because it wasnt supposed to have it, is that true? and could i just install the new head unit if i cant install the whole thing so i can at least use the cassette player?

I was just in my 92 sc400 trying the tape player and it doesnt work at all, i push the tape in and it doesnt grab it at all, it just ejects it out, and when i try and press tape on the console it does nothing, AM, FM1 & 2 all work, but tape does nothing, tried 2 different tapes and no good, i want it to get the adapter to hook up my mp3 to the dash since i dont have a cd player.

Hey everyone, on my 92 sc400s key the keyring part is falling apart, i dont need a new key but just the casing, i called lexus and they said it would be like $330 for a new key with the unlocker, what is the secret to lexus keys, how else can i get a casing or a cheaper key.

if you are serious thanks for wasting 80 dollars of my money.

how much for the harness?

ok, just got back, looked around pretty thoroughly, couldnt find any wires not connected to anything, so for one of the wirings that you say you can get me, can i install it by myself with my dad and is it just from the cd changer to the head unit?

My dad ordered a new Head unit, amp, and 12 cd changer for our 92 Sc400, i just got it in today and i want to see if lexus put the harness for the cd player into the trunk even though my car never came with one, where should i look for it, and could 2 people install the head unit by ourselves if the wiring harness is in for the trunk? thanks for all the feedback. will post pics if wanted.

I took my cup holder out with hopes to fix it, when you close the lid it doesnt lock shut, i have the peices taken out so how to i fix it, the rod that comes down when it closes doesnt catch inside the small compartment to close it. will post pics if needed.

:( i dont think it came with one, how much do those usually run? One of my friends had 2 alpine 12s and an amp in his trunk and i know he sold them but still has the wiring, could that be used? he had a big blue wire running from the headunit to the trunk and some other wires.

my dad bought a factory 12 cd changer, amp, and head unit for our 92 sc400, it didnt have a cd player before, how much should it cost to get it all installed do you think?

Hey everyone, i wanna check out the speakers in the doors of my sc, im guessing its just prying them out with a flat head screw driver but i didnt want to force anything, so whats the best way to take them off? and whats a good way to get some small parking lot dents out of the fenders and rear quarters?

alright, thats good it will fit with out any custom fabrication. How can i get the current head unit out? ive looked all around it and cant see any way to pry it off or anything.

I need a new head unit for my 92 sc400, i dont have/want the trunk changer and i just want a single din. do i need special fitters?
