  1. If the tires program is "Toyota Tires for Life", and you plan on keeping the car several years, I'd check into that one.
  2. I think both mirrors tilt no matter L or R. Give it a try and let us know. Thanks.
  3. It's recommended to replace the gasket whenever that cover on the headlight is removed. Also you may not have got it completely dry inside. If there's moisture trapped in there it's going to condense and show up when the outside temperature changes. Maybe a hair dryer on low setting would thoroughly dry out the unit. You also should dry and seal the passenger side as well. Some of the HID kits come with a rubber grommet that fits into the hole you make and seals there and around the wires. It does a better sealing job and makes a much better looking installation.
  4. Auto Trader has good coverage. You can even find new cars at dealer lots on there. I think it's worth a try. I found my O2 IS on Auto Trader while I was in Ohio, bought it there and drove it back to Alabama. The car was one year old when I got it.
  5. F in Japanese is Fastass sumbichi. :D
  6. AutoTrader both online and the print version. I'd also put it in the Atlanta newspaper classifieds.
  7. First IS-F online ad. http://m.2mdn.net/1044889/ISF_synonym_336x280_v2.swf
  8. Set the mirror selector switch to either L or R, depending on which mirror you want to tilt. If the switch is in the middle, neutral, position the tilt function is disabled.
  9. One thing that may not be the cause but would make the problem worse would be tires with off center belts or conicity. They'll pull to one side. If you happened to have two on one axle pulling in opposite directions, the car would not run straight. There were problems with some IS cars produced with Dunlops and those tires were replaced.
  10. Looks like Mass allows 35% tint. http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/MA/
  11. I haven't read the entire manual either, but when I want to know something I'll just look for that particular item. Oil changes and stuff fit naturally in the maintenance section. :D But I guess that's what us moderators are here for, to help if we can.
  12. I think you get a new engine air filter at 30,000. That might help some.
  13. Really, try to get a good test drive on streets and roads that you know, if you can. Also test the same day if you can. I drove the IS250 and decided the ride, handling, and style suited me, but wanted more power so just went ahead and bought the IS350. I was driving a IS300 at the time and I figured it was a good comparison.
  14. NXT goes on easy and buffs easy. I do mine about every 3 months.
  15. The Lexus handles plenty good and with longevity in mind, it will surely be the best in that category.
  16. Where did you drive from? Was there a major difference in the weather like warmer where you got the car than where you drove to? PSI will drop about 1 pound per every 10 degrees in ambient temperature. Also the gage matters as menitoned in the post above. Always use the same one and check the tires before you drive very far.
  17. I think the tilting mirror is part of some of the option packages. It's not standard.
  18. You can reset the oil change light. It's in the owner's manual and I believe it's in a thread in this forum. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...ost&id=3751 4-3
  19. I used the pen with my IS300. For me it was easier than the little brush, but took several coats to cover.
  20. Here's the options list including some packages with Mark Levinson sound system. http://www.lexus.com/models/IS/features/pricing.html
  21. Irontoad is as good as any for stuff like that.
  22. I haven't heard any engine noises other than the normal clicking from the high pressure fuel pump/direct injector system as discussed in other threads.
