  1. With your commute, long term reliability should be a major factor. Need I say more?
  2. Nice avatar. :)
  3. Your question is answered in the text at the ebay link.
  4. Comprehension problem it would appear.
  5. Silicone rubber lubricant wouldn't hurt.
  6. Yeah, it's not hard to find stuff, but usually it's not all in one place.
  7. You need to contact the district service people and have them look at it since the dealer is either unable or unwilling to dig into the problem and correct it.

  9. Except for straight line traction from a stop, FWD sucks donkey balls in snow.
  10. It shows how to intialize another set of sensors. The sensors first must be entered into the computer registry so the system will recognize them. All the dash button does is to initiailize at the pressures you want to run. Once all that is done then you can easily switch between your summer and winter tires/wheels by selecting tire set 1 or tire set 2.
  11. The wheels don't look that great but the car is nice and shiney.
  12. So far I haven't heard of a way to handle this without having the dealer register the new units. In many cases it's even worse, as the sensors can't even be installed in some aftermarket wheels.
  13. kewl
  14. Did you check your actual tire pressures?
  15. I think it's +- 4 or 5 PSI change before the TPMS alarms. Tires will lose about 1 PSI for every 10 degree F drop in ambient temperature. If you aired your tires in 70 degree weather then it's possible the alarm would go off at 30 degrees, especially if they were a little on the low side to begin with. Best thing to do is check your cold inflation pressure when the weather turns cold. If you're checking them on a regular basis, then you ought to catch that anyway.

  18. It's a Lexus, use the good Japanese stuff.
  19. There's no such a thing as a magic spark plug. OEM works best so that's the one to use. There's just no disagree to it. You can make a hobby out of trying different ones, and you'll find some that aren't worth a damn, but you won't find any that work better in a stock engine.
  20. One of the best albums ever, "Sinatra at the Sands" with Count Basie. Then the separate Basie only album from the same show.
  21. Speaking of Scion, I was over at Gander Mountain today and there was one of those Scion box wagons, dunno the model name, totally painted up to look like a 12 pack of Bud Light. It was amazing.
  22. I don't think there's much differene between any of the major brands. All they do is put a smooth tube and a large area filter to lower restrictions. Intake alone really doesn't do much except make noise.
